  1. Most of these pictures are just amazing. I'm enjoying looking at them (excluding the scat ones. ) This last week we saw 7 white-tail deer. It was deer hunting season in the area and they were smart enough to be hiding near caches.
  2. A big thank you to Coffea robusta for my avatar! I like it very much and I'm grateful for the time you spent to make it. It's very thoughtful of you and I'm thrilled to finally have one! Thanks!
  3. I started with Mobipocket and found it to be painfully slow. Then I tried Plucker but to be honest with you, the set-up hurt my brain. I don't want to have to do all that work. Get it on my Palm, that's all I want. Somebody on my state association board recommended Cachemate and while I hesitated in spending more money on a program that may or may not work, I am very happy with it. I like how it easily works with GSAK and the money was well-spent. It's so much faster than Mobipocket and the set-up was very simple. Just my opinion, but I do like it.
  4. Ok, I'd really like a really awesome looking purple artichoke. What can you do for me? In advance, I'm grateful. . . .
  5. What a great thread! We tend to listen to Barenaked Ladies (the band. get your mind out of the gutter) quite a bit because they keep us going. When I'm trying to really think or relax, it's usually classical music. It would be conservative talk radio if it were up to my husband, but it would end up being a long walk home or between caches for him. Do you think if we lobbied Sirius or XM, they'd start a Geocaching radio station for us?
  6. Hello! Another GeoNewbie here, too. Got my GPS today for my birthday present and can't wait to go out this afternoon or evening to hunt! I'm on my way to the Wisconsin site to introduce myself there as well. Tara, Mike and kids aka Purpleartichoke
