Birddroppings

Likes: Like the expanded map selection...and the new look. That the maps seem to update quicker. Love the expanded view of area-wide caches. HATES...not dislikes: Can't make a pocket query from the map. Can't get any mouse-over info. Can't download a cache to the GPSr from the pop-up bubble. WHY...oh please tell me why...do upgrades always include HUGE steps backwards??? I would imagine my three HATES are loses that a LOT of cachers are going to miss.

AS is always the case with upgrades (w/ ANY application...not just GCing) there are always HUGE steps backwards. There is one VERY irritating one with the new upgrade here. Prior to the big upgrade today you could click on a cache icon on the map and a pop-up box would appear with the option of downloading that cache directly to your GPSr. THAT OPTION NO LONGER EXISTS!!! WHY? Now you have to actually go to that cache page to download the cache. NOT A WISE MOVE...what would be the reasoning behind removing that option? Just plain stupid in my opinion.
