  4. Always have a Spyderco "Native" clipped in my jeans pocket; as well as a small Falkniven U2 slip-joint in my off side pocket. Usually have a Gerber "Fisherman" Multi Tool on my belt. Being a "knife person", I often have different blades on, or in, my day pack when hiking. Also have a Surefire "G2 - Nitolon" hand light; and a Petzel head lamp in the pack, which is a Maxpedition "Pigmy Falcon".
  5. Since you brought NJ AT Coin out before the PA coin, I thought maybe you had rerouted the AT somehow
  6. APE Coins arrived in Maryland today. Great coin; Well worth the wait. You did good my friend!
  7. Patience Grasshopper! If I am forunate enough to grab one, I might just send it over there - At least you New Zealand cachers keep the jeeps moving. John
  8. Definitely gets my nomination for "Reviewer of the Year" MD has benifited from Quiggle's understanding of local cache issues & fast cache approval. Not a single complaint here
  9. I would be interested in (2). Thanks - John
  10. Received my coin today, and am impressed with the detail & quality. Another great coin from the Maryland geocaching community.

  12. Just a quick post to thank all New Zealand cachers for moving WJTB "Dayle" from cache to cache in your great land. I placed him in the Fern City cache near Mt. Airy, Maryland USA July 23, 2005. The same day, Tiffany & Co retreived him; to be next heard from on October 16, 2005 when they placed him in Local History 101, Dunedin (Otago). You folks have been moving WJTB "Dayle" around New Zealand ever since. First, on the South Isle, and just recently over to the North Isle. I really enjoy following him in his travels. I have never visited your country, but "Dayle's" travels certainly have made me much more aware of it. I enjoy following your posts as you move him around; and from the sound of them, cachers are pretty much the same, the world over. I really appreciate all of you. John
  13. Thanks. That means a lot to me. I placed one of sbell111's "containers" in POPLAR SPRING - Circa 1795: and Earlier. The site at the time was very small, and needed a container that could be "hid in plain sight" - It worked great!, and still draws praise from persons finding the cache. I am very pleased with it, and echo the OP's praise. Thanks
  14. Update on location of Mission 7: Crab Creek APE Cache Dancingfool posted a note for Mission 7: Crab Creek (Project APE) (Disabled) (Project APE Cache) at 6/30/2006 Log Date: 6/30/2006 I went to the temporary location today to get coordinates. The reception was a little spotty but I think they will get you close. There is a large recently fallen tree nearby. N 39° 06.852 W 077° 07.970 The main section of the park is still closed but you can access the cache from Needwood Rd. The cache is located up the hill from its normal position. Follow the path on the west side of the lake until you reach the utility right of way. If you follow the right of way your gpsr should get a good signal. You should avoid the area around the dam as the work there is still ongoing. Please be sure to rehide it well. It is .85 miles from Neeedwood Rd but none of it is too difficult and the trail is well maintained . It seems a shame for folks to not get to log the cache. Once the danger of the dam breaking has passed the cache will be relocated to its original location Posted by Dancing Fool at 7:38 PM - 6/30/06
  15. Right on the mark!!! What ever it takes my friend.
  16. I know it is not too creative, (and probably unpopular). but I like... The 50 State Multi-Cache
  17. PM sent ~ Thanks for the offer...
  18. Dammit, too bad we can't make out the whole thing. From the above web site...... The new tattoo is a number of coordinates: N11 33 0 E104 51 00 N09 02 00 E038 45 00 One is the coordinates of Cambodia, while the other is the coordinates of Ethiopia. It is expected that Angelina will add a third coordinate, that of Namibia! Which might look something like this: N22 67 51 E14 53 06
  19. You might want to post your request on the Maryland Geocaching Society Forum: http://www.mdgps.org/modules.php?name=Forums Your request will be seen by a lot of MD cachers who do not nornally check this Forum. John
  20. Didn't place my preference on my order for this coin; but I definitly would prefer "two-tone" Thanks
