  1. This was posted earlier today on the Maryland Geocaching Forum Military vs Civilian GPS Seems to be pertinent to this thread.
  2. You might want to try a bathroom mat laid on the roof edge of your vehicle when sliding your craft onto vehicle roof from the rear. John
  3. The Maryland and Illinois APE Caches have been archived, after both went missing within a week of each other late in 2006. TPTB would not permit them to be replaced, as they were "unique" caches. Once the original container and log book were lost, they would no longer be authenic Project APE Caches. It is a shame. Cachers traveled thousands of miles to log these caches.
  4. Received this today..... "Location: Colorado, United States cameltrekor archived Cache Across America - Colorado (old school) (Archived) (Traditional Cache) at 5/3/2007 Log Date: 5/3/2007 This cache is closed and removed. The new CAA-CO cache is GC12D52." FYI John

  17. Agreed ~ I would also be proud to assist in the maintainance of this cache, as I am sure others of the local caching community would.
  18. Well said Michael - It always amazed me the distances that hundreds of cachers travelled to just log this cache.
