  1. For all of you much much higher numbered people. #377099 here. WOO HOO.
  2. I have bought a bunch of these and my motto is get the oils as much as you can with these and then a hot shower with cheap soap when I get home. Seems to really keep it to a minimum for me. I get patches of it on the "softer" parts of my skin. no, not what you are thinking. Like my inner arms, and behind my knees.
  3. First of all NOOB here. I have even recently adopted three caches that I had found as some of my first, and am very interested in doing a good job of maintaining them. Some of the log books that I have signed do indeed get wet and here in East Tennessee humidity is just a way of life. I am guilty of logging in the rain, but it was a swift thunderboomer and caught me with the ammo box open. Here is my question. Has anyone ever used "Write in the rain paper" books to keep the water troubles down? Write in the rain paper Just wondering if this little investment could help curb the water logged, er, log book
  4. Well we found the "Along the Alcoa Greenway" cache today, so we can adopt it if you would like.
  5. David, we would love to take about three off of your hands. My family and I are team BlameTheDog and have really enjoyed your hides. Can we adopt one we havn't even found yet? Can we have: Springbrook Along the Alcoa Greenway and Going out of Buisiness Would gladly take a fourth if you wanted to recommend one for us.
  6. Thanks for the input everyone. Yeah Kai, that is why I was concerned, thinking more of the owner than a visitor. I think I will break it out like this. If we find it as a team, then I will see who wants individual logs. I would like to think that my kids will keep geocaching for years to come, and would really appreciate the extra effort dear ole' dad went through to keep their logs accurate. I will most likely just add an entry that says which team we are a part of. Maybe someone could use one of the many "clan" mods used in the gaming world to add a database field that can hold the Team name. Then it just comes up incidentally in logs, or here in the forums as "member of Team xxxx". Of course that complicates an isssue that probably doesn't warrant the time. Thanks for the Input everyone. Troul Hawk member of Team BlameTheDog :D
  7. Thanks Isonzo, My only concern is that there could be up to five log entries added for a single visit (Team and then individual counts). Does that matter? Thanks!
  8. I was just wondering if anyone had seen a post regarding the creation of teams. I started hunting without my family but after they went with me one time, they were hooked. We decided we would like to be a Team. Is there a way to log the visit to the cache and have the find show up on the Team members counts as well? Is it frowned upon to have each one of us log our visit? It does seem to busy up the log. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!! P.S.-We each have a unique username on the geocaching.com website. WOO HOO First post down, many many to go
