  1. Oh, I sure miss this little guy. I know that this doesn't count for the contest but I wanted to share anyways! This is a pic of our bunny from over 5 years ago! Lucky:
  2. I don't have what you are looking for but those are some ADORABLE coins!
  3. I recently obtained a TEAM Misguided geocoin in a trade. On the back it says "Don't follow us - We're Misguided" Does anyone know what site I would use to obtain this activation code? I tried the geocaching website but it gives me an error message every time I try. Thanks in advance for any help!
  4. I'd love to do this!! Prashadfamily Signed up: 12/4/10 Name Received. Card Sent Card Received
  5. Thanks for your input. I did ask him and it was his intent to mark it missing based on the fact that one person said it wasn't there. Like you said - his prerogative. That's a good idea - I will send the prior cacher a quick PM.
  6. Yes, I completely understand this. In fact, I AGREE with it. Coins shouldn't be virtually listed in a cache when they have been missing for a length of time. I just thought that a mere six days was a little premature to be making this move. That's all. Thanks for your input everyone - I guess it is what it is. Hopefully the coin gets logged soon so that it can move along.
  7. I got a notification today that says that one of my geocoins has been marked as "missing" by a cache owner or admin. The part that bothers me is that this coin was last logged as placed in a cache on November 27, 2010. That's just six days ago! It just seems to me that this might be a little on the premature side to be marking a coin as missing.... especially considering the recent Holiday! A lot of people travel during this time and maybe the person that has it just hasn't had a chance to get to a computer to log it yet. Is this normal? I mean, I know it's a little annoying to go to a cache thinking there is a trackable there and then to discover that there isn't one after all. But... six days? Also, what is proper etiquette? Is is unreasonable for me to think that whoever it was could have sent me a quick message first... in order to give me the opportunity to research it first? OR, maybe I'm totally overreacting. Maybe it's a mistake and I'm totally blowing it out of proportion!
  8. I'm going to go with Patriots for the high and the NYJ for the low. Total 48.
  9. I still have the 2005 and 2007 Lackey coins that I'd love to trade to a new home! (Not to mention the poker chip geocoins!)
  10. I'll guess 44 for today!
  11. The poker coins are not trackable. I think I responded to everyone that emailed me - if I didn't, try again!!
  12. I've had a couple successful trades but I still have lots of poker coins left! I'll happily trade these for anything at all. I'll give at least three for any unactivated trackable!
  13. It's not that big of a deal to do. Since any profits you make would be taxable income to you, you have to deal with the paperwork anyways. The added step of filing your return (many states let you do it annually) and paying the tax isn't really that big of a deal. Most states only require you to collect/pay sales tax on orders shipping within your state. Now technically speaking, anyone out of state that orders coins (or any merchandise online from out of state) from you is also supposed to pay their local/state sales tax on the purchase at the end of the year (sales/use tax). I'm guessing that most people don't though. Also, FWIW, I'm an accountant by day.
  14. Omg, I LOVED reading this one SO much. Such creativity in that cointest - I would have had a hard time picking the winner!!
  15. Oh, wow. Now that's a very interesting story. Oh, great! Another thread I'm going to spend hours reading!!
  16. OR, I would happily trade one of my Lackey (2005 or 2007) coins for a GEOHONU Mystery Turtle coin.... and then I'd use that to trade you. Figured I'd throw that out there just in case someone might be interested!
  17. This is a creative cointest, too! Man, I sure have been missing out!! There can never be too many Poker games!!
  18. As much as I loved the "history lesson", I think this one has won my favor. What a sweet, inspiring thread! Oh, yes! I'd love to see this one, too. It sounds fun!
  19. Do you have a link for that thread? I'm very intrigued by these cointests.... I can sense an addiction coming on!!
  20. I have not been around for very long but I did see a recent cointest - the Mr. Gray - and I have to say, I thought that was pretty neat! ETA: This is a GREAT thread! I absolutely love looking at these links - I suspect I'm going to lose hours in the "History Lesson" thread!!
