Well Bo you set it up and we will try to make it...But dont be surprise if you get folks from outside the IE to show up...I have found that geocachers just like to hook up and "party"...Oh the some of the toughest hikes I have done in the IE is around Box Canyon area, do the "C" cache from the bottom or gorgonio 1/2 way, or do all the box canyon caches in a day...or Doc Bob has a few over in the local hills above Corona and Lake Elsanore. question to pharmadude...how do you feel about folks that TN and leave a "calling card" that says they found the cache...They are leaving something??? If you can hide a large can that can hold a 3 ring binder. Have paper targets that fit into the book which will be your log book. Cachers shoot at the target, and then puts in the book. we use to live in the desert. I have to agree with everything. If you have a lawn get ready to mowing it at midnight. In August there is what we call monsoons rain in the afternoon. Well the cache that was in the area, has been turned into a virt...and now they have a new board they hang out onhttp://pub41.bravenet.com/forum/show.php?usernum=3438579898&cpv=1 Now they have a station ranger saying...Just spoke to Bob Wood, district recreation officer for the San Bernardino National Forest Service. He has stated that there are no actual CFC provisons except the current littering CFC LAW. that prevents geocaching from happening in the entire San Bernardino National Forest and San Gorgonio Wilderness. So All Caches that are in the San Bernardino National Forest are illegal. I did mention Virtual Caches and he did like that idea.
