  1. Yep, that's where we were...just couldn't remember how to spell it! Thanks for the info!
  2. Hello, We have never been benchmark hunting, but we found one while we were in Maui and went to watch the sun rise. I took a picture of it, but can't seem to figure out how to or what information I need to log it. Any help would be really appreciated!
  3. A cache was accidently put under Martin Clan but needed to be under the McViens account. Is there any way to change it over? Or do we need to archive this cache and start over? Any help is greatly appreciated!!
  4. Guess it might help if I even knew what HTML was [] I know next to nothing about computers, but will try to figure this one out.
  5. Could someone please tell me how to make a link from one TB to another? We are releasing two TB's (that are twins) and when someone finds one we would like them to be able to read about the other one as well. I have seen links on cache pages but again don't know how it was done. Any help will be greatly appreciated []
  6. Hi there Just a quick question I am trying to find out if we are charter members? I think we are, but I never got an e-mail with a password ( I guess thats needed for other areas) And if you did send me an e-mail... then I know who to talk to about it's not being on the computer [] Thanks for any help
  7. We had our first and only cache box stolen (the area was a bit more traveled than we realized) after going back and exploring the area, we're not sure we're ready to put one back out till we find a much better hiding place...should we archive it? or leave it on alert that it's closed till we find a better spot? Thanks for any input.

  9. I've noticed most people have all types of pitures and logos under their names...how do you do that??
  10. We have an etrex Legend, my brother and his family have a Maggie (sorry - don't know the model) and they both work very well. Sometimes our GPS gets us closer and sometimes his does. Same goes for when we're out hunting with people who have other models of Garmin. Plus remember someone always has one just a bit better than yours. I think they are all pretty good. Get the one you like...try it for a week or two and if you don't like it, take it back. Good luck
  11. Just curious if anyone has ordered a youth size? I have a 4 year old who wears a size 5-6, would that be a small or med.? Just wondering if anyone knows?

  13. We would only shut the cache site down to move the fist site, or leave the first one in place and add another starting point for when the initial site was too busy to get access to...does that make sense?? It's our first cache so any suggestions would be appreciated.
  14. If the start of a multi cache was placed in an area that is becoming too well traveled, should the cache: [This message was edited by Martin Clan on April 04, 2002 at 01:41 PM.] [This message was edited by Martin Clan on April 04, 2002 at 01:44 PM.]

  18. I bought a Venture in January and went out geocaching 10 minutes after we bought it, and noticed right away that it lost reception quite easily. We live in WA. where there are a lot of trees, and we constantly lost reception (even under very minimal tree coverage) I really started to dislike the Venture, several people told me to try the Legend so we went and exchaged the Venture for the Legend (I thought for sure there wouldn't be much difference...BOY was I wrong!) we went directly back to a multi cache we had been unable to do before and with the Legend we NEVER lost reception even under thick tree coverage. So my vote is for the Legend

  20. The new coins are beautiful, but my four year old, who has one of Moun10bikes coins claims that only the beautiful ones with color are REAL treasure...so no matter what anyone else comes out with I think Moun10bikes coins will always be worth a bit more than the rest

  22. I was wondering what people think is an ok length of time to hold on to a travel bug. We held one for about 8 or 9 days until we went the direction the bug was going, and we were able to get it pretty far...but I felt a little bad that we had it so long. Just wanted to hear other people feelings on this matter.
