  1. Check out TB Ref. number TB3E05 Uncle Elwyn!!!!
  2. Check out 'Starve Island 'in Ohio. Actually, it is an island in Lake Erie. We saw it from a distance from the ferry on the way to Put-in-Bay. UMMM, we passed on this one and continued on to the winery! Hats off to all the cachers who wrote logs and DID make the attempt and here's to the ones who made it
  3. Don't know about a gravestone, however, we live in Az. and travelled across country this past summer/fall to visit my brother in Ohio. Out west, there were a few caches in cemetaries, but in Ohio where he lives there are Spirit Runs and EVERY cemetary around there has at least one cache. It was GREAT! Check out a cache called 'City of Angels' near Little Italy in Cleveland. It is a HUGH cemetary where Rockefeller and President McKinley are buried. Now THAT was a hunt! We sure liked the cemetary caches since it was like a 'walk in the park' compared to the cactus around here We found one cache (not in a cemetary, but would probably work for you) where there was a hole drilled into a post and then there was a reflector attached to the lid~so you had to unscrew the reflector to get to the log in the hole. Might work in a gravestone!
  4. Hey!Thanks for all the replys. We are heading out today and will take ALL your advice! See you down the trail
  5. Ok~since they say there is no such thing as a DUMB question~~I don't hunt and am traveling across country caching. Just WHEN exactly IS hunting season????? Do states differ on dates? We live out west and are traveling in the east. I did pick up an orange vest, but am not sure when to start wearing it. OK OK, I can hear laughter out there
  6. HEY! You guys are ALLLLLRRRIIGHHTTTT!!! See you down the trail! Imcfly
  7. QUESTION! We have been to alot of caches in different states and noticed there are quite a few of those LONG slim sheets for signing especially in micro caches. These are about 1 1/2 wide and about 10 inches long. Anyone know where to get these? Have had no luck in the geo gear sites on the site. Thanks! Imcfly
  8. Sorry for the confusion! What I SHOULD have said is that I don't want to CHANGE the history AT ALL; just an easier way to keep track of what the ones I need to retry. Will try the bookmark thing, altho I have to figure out how to do that~I am not too computer literate
  9. I print out my Finds and DNF sheets from My Account so I don't forget which ones I have gone to.Some of my DNFs I have returned for 2sd hunts and on the second try have found them. When I log the find ~it goes on the FOUND list; however they are still listed on the DNF page. Is there some way to remove it from the DNF list as my DNF list has 20 results but in fact it should only show 8 DNF? I know I received credit for the finds on the FOUND list, but would like to print out only the ones I DNF. Any ideas?
  10. ok, I MET thee best travel bug of all at an event. There is a cacher in Tuscon who IS the travel bug. He sent for the tags took the number to a friend who does tattoos and had the logo and the tracking number tattooed on his upper arm. To get credit you must have your picture taken with him and send him the picture. That is how he puts a name to a face. I am still amazed!!
  11. Iwould NOT like this idea AT ALL. There are too many REAl rattlesnakes in Arizona. We have had TOO many close calls with these and would NOT appreciate being out in the boonies and have yet another scare with these or other desert critters. Thanks but no thanks
