Thanks, JPatton, for the input. I tried as you suggested and found that it will work if there are no more than 20 caches in the list, though the original list order is lost. The preview method doesn't seem to work if there are more than 20 caches in the list and if the user wants to have all the caches in a single .LOC file. The PQ results preview breaks up the results into multiple pages of 20 caches each. I don't see a way to "Check All" for all the pages of the entire PQ preview result before clicking the "Download Waypoints" button at the bottom of the preview page. Without a true "Check All", I don't see a way around an individual download for each and every page of twenty caches. On the other hand, after the PQ has run, the downloaded file contains all caches, though, again, the original list order is lost. Richard

Hi Hans, Thanks for the question. I use the .LOC download to create a file with lat/long and GC and cache name fields that mapquest can import. Then I have mapquest optimize the route and calculate distance and drive times. Richard

The work around I found is inferior to the "Download to .LOC" button. It involves creating a pocket query from the list, requesting the output file to be in the .LOC format, running the pocket query and then finally downloading it. Several more steps for the user and it possibly adds to the load on geocaching.com's servers. A huge drawback to this is that the resulting file is sorted by GC code by default, losing the order that the list was originally in. Please bring the "Download to .LOC" button back!

Sometime after 9/4/18, the "Download to .LOC" button that was present at the bottom of the bookmarks/view page has disappeared! The only buttons down there now are "Delete Selected" "Delete Entire List" and "Create Pocket Query." I'd like to have it back! It was very handy for a quick download of the coords and basic cache information without having to run a Pocket Query. I use this feature too! And with the demise of the old app on March 23, I'm just not sure how to adapt with the new app.

Yippee! Thanks for bringing back Google Maps for Premium members! I was thrilled when I saw this!!! You are doing awesome work. One issue that I have noticed since the latest update is that the Remember Me option does not remember me. I have to log on to Geocaching.com every time even though I select the option to Remember Me. Keep up the great improvements!!!

We have been having this problem too! We have 2 iPhones - v4 with the latest OS. This problem seems to coincide with when they removed Bing maps. Please fix both of these problems.

Hello. I have been using the iPhone app since we started geocaching - 8/29/10. I have always used the Bing map option because the Google option is slow and clunky and not as responsive. Recently, i noticed that the Bing map option is gone. I have really become frustrated with the Google option because it is very slow, the zoom to navigation is not smooth and the pinch features take several seconds to respond. I live in Dallas with excellent cell reception so it can not be a reception problem. It is a Google Map problem. What would it take to get Bing maps back???

We agree that the new map is terrible for displaying PQ results! I'm looking for every place I can to complain about it and add my voice to the fact that the new maps need the option to display everything or just the results of my PQ.

This is not a solution to the problem at all. The problem is that we want to display a map with ONLY the PQ results on the map page. If the old map could do it, the supposedly new and improved map should be able to as well. The inability to do this renders the map almost useless. And, it is frustrating. Give me the option to display only my PQ results or the whole world of caches but don't limit my ability to see just my results. I just tried your suggestion and the bubbles show but they do not carry information about the cache type or give the ability to click to get to information about the cache. Although your idea does just show the icons, it does not resolve the problem.

We used to be able to display the results of a pocket query on the old map and no other goecaches displayed. Now, with the beta map, EVERY Cache shows and there is NO WAY to filter out the noise and see only what you want. This renders the map useless for this purpose. PLEASE make an option to hide the noise and display ONLY the results of the PQ.

At one point, I could move Trackables from Inventory to my personal Collection. Has that option moved? It seems logical that it would be on the trackable's home page in the Actions drop down list. However, it is not there. Where oh where do I look now?
