  1. I've just upgraded from the GPS 60 to the 60 csx and I'm having a problem. On the 60, when I would look for a cache, on the screen where I'd follow the arrow, at the bottom there was a little square that said 'found' so after I found the cache, I'd press enter and a screen would come up saying Congratulation and tell me which cache was next. Well, on the 60csx, on the same arrow screen, there is no 'found' box at the bottom of the screen. Help...what am I doing wrong. Also, this 60csx always wants to route me to the cache evn when I'm within 400 feet of it?? Anyones help would be greatly appreciated.
  2. So, I went to thePost Office this afternoon, expecting only to find items addressed to someone named 'Bill' . To my suprise, there was a package. To who you might ask? My Cat Bismarck got a Secret Santa Package!! So I rushed right home to show him what he got. In the package was a pack of little mice, two packs of treats, and some herb (ok, to be PC here... it was cat nip)! There was also some bubble wrap that he loved more than life... it might have been because it smelled of herb too . Thank You, Thank You dear Secret Santa!! You made my little family very very happy!! Bismarck is the brown, stripey guy, the little white lady in the foreground is his girlfriend, Monkey Jr.

  6. Too much snow is affecting my mind. I remember caching last Christmas and New Years Days (Wisconsin Delorme Runs ) and there was no snow on the ground.

Papa Noel arrived in Minnesota this afternoon! Wow! What a suprise, with the way things have been going recently, (the weather turning crappy and my car acting crazy) I was expecting a box full of fossil fuels. My hero (aka SS) sent me a SEIGO coin, a hockey jersey coin, a hockey puck micro, and a Canadian coin!! Beside being very kind, my Secret Santa is omnipotent.... how in the world did you know what I wanted!! Thank You, Thank You I didn't realize that one's pets were open for Santa missions. My Bismarck would have liked to participated too.(he's such a good boy) Maybe next year.

  17. I was looking to see if there was an Iowa Counties Challenge Cache. I didn't see any mention to one anywhere. Would you fine Iowa folks be opposed to this Minnesota Monkey planting one? For those who are unfamiliar with the County Challenge Cache idea, it'll be a cache that can be found and claimed by cachers who have found at least one cache in each of a state's counties.

    1. Are there any super interesting MUST FIND caches in the area? Any of the HBZ 50 caches. It'll be a park once hit multiple cache situation (and most of them are ammo boxes... woo hoo!) There are also two great night caches in the area that shouldn't be missed 2. Are there any events nearby that we maybe can drop in on? I don't see any that are coming up. 3. Anyone out there willing to be a lifeline in the event we get stumped? You can IM me if you want my phone #. 4. Any other pertinent information/questions that I should know/ask? Alot of the parks in and around Eau Claire require day passes, there are kiosks at the parking areas to buy the passes.
  19. Here's a couple of special ladies that would love a coin.
