Is it fairly easy to hear the movie?

Ok, Miragee, I have a solution for you... Skip the hike tonight, and find someone to carpool to Temecula with you tonight. Tonight is the first night of their summer "Park after Dark" series. Each Friday night through the summer, they set up in a different park in the community. There are crafts for the kids in the early evening, and then at dusk, they show a movie on a giant screen. Kind of a drive in, but your sitting on blankets or lawn chairs in the park. All of this is free! Tonights feature is Nanny McPhee. They usually have the kettle corn vendors there, so you can have popcorn with your movie too! Then, with the hundreds of caches in the area, you can do a night run and lift a bunch of skirts, and check our local guardrails! I think San Elijo Hills does a similar thing in their park in the center of the town square as well. For the cost in gas of going to two "free" movies, you could join Netflix and DVDs sent to you. You could easily get 4-6 movies each month that way. Plus it's any movie you want! You had to go and get practical on me didn't you? But outdoor movies are about the experience. It's all part of the adventure! Hi C4! What park is having the free movie tonight?

Lawson/ Gaskill Caches, Monday, Dec. 26th, 10am Meet at Miragee's Lyons Valley Roadside Distraction (GCMZCX) Which is right at the beginning of the trailhead. If there is any interest in carpooling we can meet a bit earlier at the I-8/Lake Jennings offramp Park and Ride. I wasn't sure how long doing all 10 caches would take compared to the hours of daylight we have. The good thing is that whatever group we have heading up there someone we'll have some advice on the best way to attack several of the caches which will save us some time. Dave Sounds like fun! I think the P&R idea is a good one! Maybe meet at the I-8/Lake Jennings offramp Park and Ride at 9:30AM? Here is a Google Earth map of the area. I went caching up in Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear the first weekend in Dec. It was definitely cool and crisp out, and felt like winter was upon us, but boy did the trip make it feel like Christmas! Hot chocolate never tasted so good! Wish I could have joined you all for pizza last night! Tinfoil

Apparently this cache is called "Sweetbriar" as noted in the upper right-hand corner... I just noticed that Blitzen is missing his dowel! Is that Blitzen? I thought for sure this pair was Vixen and Cupid! But what do I know!? Tinfoil Is that what Santa meant by "On Cupid"? I'll never be able to look at Santa and his reindeer the same way again!

Wall-Eyed Nutbag and I did Old 80 not too long ago and loved it! Definitely doable on bike, but I think it would be over way too fast. We're glad we hiked it. It's a great one for pooches too. Tinfoil
