Wow, what a radical request in a fun game...If this would happen, the cache owner should just archive the cache placement....I find it hard to believe that a reviewer would do such a thing.....If so, we are not in america any more.... As has been noted, bittsen misstated the procedure to follow for deleted logs. The log owner should contact Groundspeak. Volunteer cache reviewers are not the log police. We do not want to step into the middle of logging disputes between two geocachers, who may be people whose caches we find, or who we see at events. A Groundspeak Lackey, however, can restore a wrongfully deleted log and lock it so the owner cannot delete it again. I wish I could name the CO but I feel that for them to keep deleting my log, they are a little sick in the mind. After all itr is just a game. I am not a big numbers person, in 5 years I only have 200 logs. Just wondered if this was more common.

What did you post? all my post says is , found while on vacation with my son. they have deleted it but will not give me a reason why, I have sent a message to them but no reply, it was up for 3 months then a few days ago I got a log deleted email.

what can i do about this? not sure why , they will not return any messages, but they keep deleting it.

I have a route I took as I traveled across afica, It is over 11000 mile so now I would like to load it to google earth. Any one know how to do this ?

Yes, the Garmin sign up is free and is good for your first few downloads, and may resolve the issue. However, the Premium Membership at geocaching.com is still a bargain as it provides enhanced means of filtering caches and downloading them to your device, something you'll no doubt want after a few geocaching adventures. (I do still like the Garmin routine for using a check mark to select multiple sites from a list and then simultaneously loading the sites to your device all at once with just one click.) Load IE 8 and it will work for you even if you are a basic member.

I was looking at buying this at amazon . com it is 430 bucks . How much is it at gpscity ? How would i find out what maps are on the amazon one ?>

I was ahving the same problem , I had to install IE 8 , after doing that all is working fine, sucks having to change your browser just to upload to gps, but thats the way it is.

I am having the same problem, I have updated my gps and my files but it still will nnot load.

would we be not allowed to move our own bug ? or others in the race ?

I am interested in this. The last race I tried to enter but the guy running it never returned any email , so lucky for me i never did send in the bug.

OK so I am trying to ad a few caches to my gps , I have downloaded the easy gps software. I have my gps connected to the computer all that is good. So this is the part I can not figure out for example I am trying to ad GCY7TJ to my gps , what do I do ? how do I get this to the easy gps system so it can be moved to my computer ? I have been reading the help pages , but I am not getting it , PLease help

Well I use to have an etrex legend . When you turned it on it would say this unit belongs to .... ...... <my name. and had my phone number if it was ever lost or stolen. well it got stolen , and no one ever called. But now I have a new one , exact same , but I have read the manual and cannot see how to enter this info , any one know ?

Thanks for the link . but when I released that travel bug I had two laminated cards with it , one explaining the mission , one explaining it was a travel bug. The cards I got from a template on the web , then just typed in what I needed and print . Now I cant find any thing like that .

Thanks where is this bug page , I just looked but not sure what page you mean , What I am looking for is something to attach with the bug that states the goal of the bug , like credit card size or there abouts.
