  1. Look what I found straight from Garmin's site: Get into paperless geocaching with Dakota 10 by quickly downloading up to 2,000 caches, with information such as location, terrain, difficulty, hints and description — no more paper print outs and manually entered coordinates. Visit our geocaching pages for more information.
  2. I have a Garmin Dakota 10 and I know you can install up to 2000 geocaches on it. I have put four GPX Pocket Queries on it. How can I see how much space has been used or how much is free for more caches?
  3. Worked like a charm...thanks everyone for help on this!
  4. Paleolith, Thanks for the info...As I was entering a couple of them I saw at the top right a place to enter the GC number. I will give it a shot...thanks again.
  5. Keystone, can you please explain how to do this? I have hundreds to add..thanks
  6. Mtn-Man and J-Way, thanks for the info. So am I understanding this correct, I have to enter every caching in the ignore list or can I just enter the user name?
  7. The only way you can do this is to create the PQ, and then find a GSAK macro to filter out the finds by that cacher. Don't ask me how or where to find it, because I don't use it. But I do know that's the only way to do it. That is just it, I do not want to was any of my 500 limit by even pulling them in the first place. This user has hundreds of caches in the area.
  8. I have searched the forum and cannot find this. I want to setup a pocket query and delete not include any caches from a certain geocacher. Is this possible? and if so how do I set this up?
  9. Is there a way to see all geocachers (not caches) in a certain zip code or area?
  10. I can't find this option in Google Earth.
  11. Not trying to go off in another direction but, I am not sure I understand. How is it that you can enter a zip code to find caches but you can't use the zip code to exclude. I would think that somewhere there has to be a tie between the coorditnates and a zip code in a area.
  12. Is there a way to exclude a certain area of town in a query without having to enter every one of the caches to my ignore list?
  13. Can I ignore a “cacher” or just a listing? Can I also remove caches from a query like "cache not listed at coordinates"?
  14. I am sure this has been talked about before but I can't find it. Can some tell me how to setup a Ignore List. I went to the bookmarks section but did not see anything on Ignore Lists...thanks
  15. Hey Sneaky_pete38943, I got three caches out during the challenge. Two in TN and One in MS. I think this was a great idea! Keep on caching.....
  16. This has probably already been answered but I could not find it. What are the coordinates that Google Earth uses and how do you convert them to what a cache page has for the coordinates? When I look at cache that is from the Geocaching Network KML in Google earth, its coordinates are different from what is posted on the cache page. They do not appear in the same format. Here is an example of what Geocaching.com cache page shows: N 36° 13.984 W 086° 45.580 Here is the same cache but how it is shown in Google Earth: 36°13'58.80"N 86°45'34.56"W
  17. Is the Google map on cache pages working? For some reason mine is going back to the Mapquest maps.
  18. Ok, thanks for the fast reply Miragee. Team Cotati, I just thought it would be cool to have them on my palm just for reference.
  19. I would like to setup a pocket query that will show all of my finds. I have a total of 331 so far. I have tried to setup a query and no mater what I do it only comes back with 296. I have cached in only four states - Mississippi, Tennessee, Arkansas, and Florida. Any suggestions on how to get the other 35 caches to show up?
  20. The system must be down...I have not got any either.
  21. Hey Webscouter, Beejay&esskay was right, I want the latest info available the night before I head out.. Thanks everyone for your help.
