  1. It might not get as many finds, but it will be more appreciated.
  2. I wouldn't. Cachers will likely mess with the letterbox and vice versa.
  3. Also, if a cop is questioning you, never ever go to grab something out of your pocket or bag without telling them what you are doing.
  4. The replacement o ring is a good idea. It really makes a difference.
  5. Have you filled out your entire geo-date calendar?
  6. What if it is your own property or you have permission?
  7. That's the one I have heard: Ghost Cacher.
  8. The ones I have done, I have enjoyed. They were listed with the Unknown icon.
  9. It's true. Simply act as if you belong there, and few will question you.
  10. Great job Sonic. I'm looking forward to them.
  11. I think that should be an official rule. If I see a t1.5 multi, I don't expect to be driving 6 miles between stages.
  12. It would be nice to have some clarity about this. I've always been told that if a multi-stage is a physical container it should adhere to the distance rule just as any regular cache. Have you read the knowledge books? My own physical multi stages can be 5 feet from each other or across planet Earth, as long as they are all at least .1 miles from everyone else's physical hides. None of this applies to nonphysical or virtual stages or "hides" such as virtuals, earthcaches, or multis with nonphysical stages.
  13. Please no "purposefully" bad coordinates.
  14. Human flatulence contains methane. Methane is a greenhouse gas. Maybe we should all just stay at home. You don't fart at home?
  15. Not all power trails are for motor vehicles. In fact, the majority I've seen are on hiking and biking trails. No fossil fuels necessary.
  16. I think what is more shocking, to me at least, is the number of instances I have read about large numbers of caches, such as geo art or power trails, being on someone else's property without permission.
  17. I carry whatever is in my geobag, plus whatever is required by the earthcaches I plan on doing that day. Keep it simple.
  18. Delorme PN-60, because I've had nothing but bad luck with Garmin handhelds.
  19. I love the idea, but Keystone is correct. Third party must be reviewers, with strict guidelines. Not every plaque is worthy of being a cache. We also don't want HistoryCaches (or whatever they would be called) outnumbering caches with physical containers.
  20. The good news is that if you don't figure this out, you ate still allowed to log your find on Geocaching.com
  21. I can't really argue with that. The deductive type puzzles are the ones I usually have the most difficulty with.
  22. There are a lot of these. There's one in the Pittsburgh area, and some have even worked it out as a Wherigo cache.
  23. Please no. Puzzles shouldn't be difficult for the sake of being difficult. They should be clever and give the silver a sense of satisfaction when he or she has that aha! moment.
  24. Only if you want to be bored to tears. I think it looks like Eve from Wall-E.
  25. It's weird. I don't like it. Better mistakes!
