  1. Here is a quick question for you fellow Mac users: When using Bobcat, if I delete a waypoint, route, geocache, etc., and click send, why doesn't it delete the item on the GPSr? Is this normal? Do I really have to manually delete anything on the GPSr rather than using Bobcat? Is Bobcat only able to send new items and receive existing items from the unit? Thanks in advance everyone, Robert
  2. Thank you. This still leaves questions unanswered: 1) Is an arrow displayed? 2) How do you keep the screen on view - or do you? Finally, how did you get CN 2009 into the Vista? I can't find CN 2009 on DVD anywhere. Did you purchase both CN 2008 and the 2009 update? Thanks! Yes, an arrow does pop up and it will say, "TURN RIGHT ON US-40" on the screen near the top and count down in distance and time (once you are close enough). I wedge mine inbetween the dash and the windshield. It's stays *pretty* secure I bought CNNA 2008 and upon registering it online, Garmin gave me link to download the 2009 update for free. I am currently running CNNA NT 2009 on my eTrex Legend HCx and absolutely love it! Feel free to ask any other questions and I'll try to answer then or hopefully someone else could too. Robert
  3. I just recently purchased City Navigator NT 2008 for Mac and once I unlocked it online, it showed that I was eligible for a free upgrade to 2009 (I didn't buy 2008 directly from Garmin either). I downloaded and installed 2009 and currently am running it on my Legend HCx. Robert
  4. Did you honestly like that one better? I guess to each his own. Thats why its a vote.... Voted for you. Hey, you are in the lead now!
  5. Well I recently purchase the City Navigator NT 2008 for Mac and got it installed without any problems. Then I noticed on Garmin's website that I qualify for a free upgrade to 2009. I downloaded the 2.0GB+ file, added the 2009 maps to Bobcat using MapManager. I open MapManager and Bobcat says that the maps are locked. I click to unlock them online. On Garmin's website it finds the GPSr (using Communicator), I enter the GPSr's serial number and the product key that Garmin provided for the 2009 update. It says that everything worked. So I run Garmin Map Update, it first updates my GPSr software to 2.60, and then I get a screen asking for the product key. I enter the product key, but every time I try to continue, I get the message, "We were unable to retrieve unlock codes from your GPS. Please ensure that it is plugged in and turned on. If you continue to have problems, contact Garmin Customer Support." In addition, when I try to go back to the Garmin website page to unlock the maps, now when I use my product key, it's says "Invalid Product Key". Any ideas? Thanks in advance everyone, Robert
  6. Same thing here running on OS X. Hopefully it will be fixed soon. Rob
