  1. Hello, certainly not all digital cameras will see any infrared light. The cause is that there is normally a filter in front of the CCD. Of 4 different digital cameras tested non of these could se anything more than the 5 W IR-lamp when the lamp was held in front of the camera and pointing directly into the lens. My iPhone4 has obviously a less efficient filter and makes it possible to see the "invisible" scribble. Cheers! And I whish a good aching year // Ingvar / Boraas city / Sweden
  2. Yes - there is now an IR-cache. To log this cache you will need some sort of detector like the camera in a smartphone and some sort of IR irradiator. But there might be other ways to detect the invisible writing. There is no attribute for IR, but the name of the cache gives a hint... Cheers // Ingvar
