Hope everyone is doing well and having a good summer.
  2. Looks like 500 is gonna wait a few weeks, so we can make it a triple event. My girls (Katiefindscache & geobritt) are at 81 and 265 so we are gonna catch them up (kinda) and make it 100 for Katie, 300 for Britt and 500 for me

  9. They count towards their own category, the same way that geocoins and travel bugs do. But not towards your overall cache count.
  10. When you are sitting here giggling like a fool (but agreeing with every word) while you browse thru the forums
  11. I have a few caches nearby that I am having a small problem with. They require answers to physics problems and I am clueless as to what to do. I have looked online for help and that only confused me further. No one I have asked knows how to do them and I really want to find these caches. I thought about asking someone in the forums to help me solve them, but am not sure if that is proper to do. Do I ask the cache owners for help? Any input would be GREATLY appreciated!

  13. I have done that a few times when I have come across people searching for one of my hides. I let them squirm for a few then I introduced myself.

  15. Went to a fun event in Benicia yesterday. Check this out. A "G.A.T.E" Caching Event! There will be 2 more events. One on Fri March 10th @3pm and another 2weeks after that on Fri March 24th @ 3pm. We had A LOT of fun and the kids were really interested and fun to work with! If you can get the time, its worth the drive! I may go back to another myself
  16. I am from Stockton and have hidden 6. I am not sure how to do the link thing, but if you go to my profile you can find them from there, and there are others quite near mine. Sorry to not be more specific. Hope this helps some....also you can ask in the forums under CVC Central Valley Cachers

  18. My dad (geospyder) got hooked last December and in March when my parents went to Omaha to visit my sister, they got her and her hubby (hubnpepp) hooked. My sister called me and told me "Dont let dad take you geocaching...you'll be hooked" Well they took us in April and 1 week later I was the poor (but happy) owner of a Garmin Etrex VistaC My kids both got GPS's for Christmas and the wrapping had barely hit the floor before my 11yr old daughter was online making a geocaching account of her own...We love to cache!
  19. Hope everyone had a wonderful Turkeyday! I got to go caching with my dad (geospyder) in Nevada He hit 500 on Friday and we got 200 on Saturday!! All that AND turkey...what a great weekend!
