  1. I just got one for a Quest and it was a pretty good fit, within 1 mm of the edges all around. How much is it off? I'd suggest calling the company first and see if they will swap it out. Maybe some just got mixed up or something.
  2. I just got one at Circuit City for $229. They were on clearance for $263 but it was the last one and was on display. The guy said he just put it out 4 days earlier so I asked for an open box price. He marked it down and I snatched it. I don't cache with it but I don't find many faults with it. Yea, it doesn't take AA's but it's said to last up to 20 hours on batteries depending on backlight usage. I think it would be fine for getting to the cache in the car, then popping it out of it's mount and finishing up with it running on battery power. I have been using it alot in the car and I love it. I had a Magellan Meridian Platinum, then a Meridian color, which I just sold since getting the Quest. I love the size, the screen and navigation aspect of the Quest. I wanted a GPS that was small and portable but also very good for car navigation and the Quest fits the bill perfectly. The fact that Garmin updates their street maps yearly is a big plus. It doesn't have all the screens that my Meridian had but I didn't really use them much so I don't think I'll miss them.
  3. I have a Meridian Color and just bought a Garmin Quest. I've been playing with the Quest's routing features over the weekend and feel it's alot better than the Magellan for the reasons already stated. The biggest things to me are you have more options for telling it how to route you and it's alot faster at calculating routes. I also like the auto-reroute feature. Toss in the better screen and the voice navigation and you know why I just sold my Meridian color.
  4. How about a price drop, $320 shipped in the US.
  5. I have a Meridian color in excellent condition I'm thinking of selling in order to get a better unit for strictly in-car use. It has a 256 meg card, DirectRoute software, the windsheild adapter, the PC/12v cable, the manual and a case. Works perfectly, screen is in perfect condition, pretty much like new. I have only used it in the car for a few trips. Asking $350 for everything. http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/brian.corr@s...2c7.jpg&.src=ph
  6. How about if I drop the price to $240? (buyer pays shipping)
  7. Magellan Meridian Color in perfect condition. I'll also include the Magellan car windshield mount and the auto/pc cable for charging the GPS in the car and also for hooking it up to a laptop. I'll also load any region you'd like from Mapsend Directroute (I'm keeping the software for an Explorist). All original items (manual, cd, cable, etc) that it came with are also included. Only thing I don't have is the original box but I will pack it to survive shipping. Asking $275. Thanks for looking.
