  1. It said "changed to decaf" No more or less I will try and email the owner.
  2. Sorry didn't want the title to be so long the point was missed. Thanks
  3. So I was out caching and found a cache by me Fresh Ground I found it on 2/27/11 and it was archived 12/23/10 I didn't know it was archived since my PQ was not set up to exclude archived caches. Now the dilemma what if anything do I log? The cache was there and I signed in but I want to respect the wishes of the owner. not sure how to handle this. In the mean time I just have the field note sitting there while I figure it out. I did update my PQ to exclude archived caches now. Any advice? Thanks Sonja
  4. Here is a pic of my newly created signature item. My daughter and I found inspiration in a craft store. And the Bottom Krysta picked the colors and the Green glows in the dark.
  5. I have often wondered about this. Since the whole family is in on the game now I have changed my user name to reflect the whole team and we came up with a sig item. We are making wooden tops these should fit in most smalls and all regulars I also designed a shrinky dink just waiting for the inkjet kind to get here. I will size these to fit in most micros. I can't wait to be done I am waiting for my first coat of paint to dry now! When they are done I will post a pic.
  6. That is funny I am a nurse and have 2 different specimen containers sitting on my desk. Just behind my lap top for when I am ready to hide my first cache. Along with a travel bug and FTF pin... and some swag. Just have not gotten enough confidence to hide it yet.
  7. I hope the Birthday fairy is bringing me a "good" flashlight. My Birthday fairy looks a lot like my mom. I began the flashlight coveting after going to find Down for the Count my log says it all.
  8. I work the night shift and I often want to go out in the wee hours. I was wondering if there is a good way to narrow your search to night caches or if anyone has a list of night caches. Thanks Sonja
  9. I want to buy 1 gps. My DH needs one for work so I am mostly looking for one with turn by turn. However I really want one I can use for geocaching! right now I started finding caches with google maps and a good sense of direction. I however want to be able to go out and find caches with my DH (no sense of direction) and DD who is 12 (and is easily distracted but loves to be outside and has a good eye we found 6 together so far). We went last weekend and found 1/4 caches and while DH liked it I can sense he would LOVE it if he were more successful. ok sorry for the back story. I am looking at buying a Nuvi there are a few waterproof models or an Oregon. I have looked at the patches to "make" the nuvi geocaching friendly and paperless how do these work? Any advice/experience Looking for fun and guidance. Thanks
