  1. More and more recently when trying to download a cache page to my computer I get a message that says "Waiting for www.google-analytics.com" The wait can easily be 20-30 seconds. A colleague who is in the web development and advertising business says that this should not happen if the HTML in the page is correctly coded and formatted. Is this something that can be fixed? It is becoming an increasing irritation.
  2. The details aren't important to me but I like the idea of being able to post Organized Group Hunts. If you aren't on Facebook and a member of certain groups (e.g. GHMGC) then you can have trouble finding out about group hunt events. It has always seemed a bit strange to me that that a group outing to go geocaching together is not an allowable event but a group pub night to go drinking together is.
  3. The pocket query system seems to be working now. Thanks to all those involved in fixing it. I sure miss it when it isn't there.
  4. It would be nice if someone from Groundspeak would at least acknowledge that there is a problem and report that they are working on it (at least I hope they are). Maybe that is too much to ask.
  5. I am having pocket query problems tonight as well. I just ran five pocket queries which appeared to run normally. I got the email messages saying they were ready for download. But when I went to my Pocket Query page there were no pocket queries at all in the "Pocket Queries Ready for Download" list. Looks like pocket queries are disappearing into the ether.
  6. Another suggestion: add noreply@geocaching.com to your address book. Some email programs are pretty aggressive about weeding out spam and weed out a lot of things you might want to receive.
  7. I have a Garmin GPSMAP 78s and it has what sounds like the same problem. When I am out for a day of geocaching about 8-10 times over the day (maybe once an hour) the 78s will shut down as if I had hit the OFF button. I can't detect any pattern in this but it is always when I have just selected a new screen. When I turn it on again it is fine....until the next crash. I have the latest firmware installed.
