OK, so I might have went too far looking for this cache, but dammit I didn't want a DNF. It will regrow someday. Seriously though there is a satellite view of a cache around here with a trail right up to the cache. Wish I could remember which one it was.

Is there even something to do in EVERY state?

You can go to Oklahoma, stand in front of my Ex's house and flip her off for hours at a time. Seriously though, OK city is nice, Tulsa is nice and one of the most fun cities I have ever lived in. Museums: Gilcrease Museum - The Museum of the Americas - Tulsa National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum - OKC Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame - Tulsa Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum But my personal favorite is... Cavanal Hill, located near Poteau, Oklahoma, is billed as the tallest hill in the world. It evens has its own cache. Awesome, I know right up there with Everest. -
Like there is a greater 'skirt lifter' moment of all time. Please!

caches on or very near electrical equipment
scaramedic replied to Fusilli Jerry's topic in General geocaching topics
I always find it amazing how little regard the general public has for high voltage electricity. Think about how many times have you seen kids at a bus stop or adults for that matter sitting and waiting on a green transformer cover. So no, it does not surprise me that people are placing geocaches in dangerous areas. I recently went to find a cache that was supposedly attached to a transformer box with a magnet. As far as I could tell it was actually placed in between two cabinets and you had to reach up between them to get it. I didn't even attempt it. -
Double post, sorry!

I'll be willing to bet it's mostly men. We've been known to inflate the size of things. What? I'm talking about fish you perverts. Maybe if GS had a chart where they showed what containers are considered small, medium, etc..

One find and it was this one!! So when did you find a micro to hate??? Or did someone screw up and forgot they were on their sock's account??

I've had harassing, nasty, belittling emails from others.

Wait, your cache was published on Sept 11th and then archived on Sept 11th? Is that a record?? -
Are you here asking advice or just trying to get someone to buy you a premium membership?

It's understandable my first thought when I saw the title of this thread was...
-
What confuses me is he seems to be upset with Groundspeak for 'selling' coordinates in bulk to people. Then he turns around and makes his caches premiums. Thereby causing people to pay GS $30 to see his cache.
-
Could this be tied into the idea of 'historical' caches in this thread? New Cache Type?
-
Forgive my noobness if I am wrong but this isn't Geocaching. There are no coordinates given. it looks like you are using clues given to you to find a location but not a cache. Essentially he is using the 'hunt' to get people to his book signings. Like today's clue you have to go to Borders books in Seattle where he is having a book signing. You're supposed to ask HIM for a clue and a gift. It's more publicity gimmick and less geocaching. Also they actually never use the term geocaching.

Geocaches should only be containers of provisions.
scaramedic replied to narcissa's topic in General geocaching topics
When I hear the word provisions I think of.... and Great now geocaches will have their own booth at every county fair. The will all be bejeweled mason jars with blue ribbons on them. -
I just paid $399 plus $75 shipping for one of these on E-Bay did I get a good deal??
-
So I hate to sound like a noob, but since I am whats the deal? Are these forums going to change into the above format? Or are they going to be a separate forum from these.

Danke!

Does this also apply if the maggot is a girl? Don't ask, don't tell.

If he was from Germany wouldn't his handle be something like this... DeutschlandBürt

Sticker for new geocache... ATTENTION: Placing a sticker and removing geochache containers has been linked to shrinking genitalia and permanent impotence. But then again if you are doing such a thing it probably doesn't matter anyway. Please return to your parent's basement and continue dreaming about someday meeting a REAL girl.

I'm not sure I completely understand the guidelines.

Isn't everything? Just to play Devil's advocate, when has a terrorist targeted a railroad track? I agree they should be a distance away due to trespassing laws, but not because of terrorism. May 2010
