[North Central Minnesota Get-together]

I think it's about time we get all us geocachers in the north central part of the state together. So, I'd like to announce the following:

 

What: North Central Minnesota Geocache Get-together

 

When: Sunday, December 2, 2007 3:30 pm until ?

 

Where: Perkins in Bemidji (only Perkins in Bemidji)

 

Who: Anyone that wishes to meet other geocachers.

 

Why: Why not?

 

We've reserved a room in Perkins for 3:30pm on that date. The room holds 24 comfortably. Come and meet all your fellow geocachers. Wixie and myself are organizing this event. If you'd like to attend, please let us know as soon as possible. Bring along your coins, TB's and stories.

We look forward to meeting as many people as possible.

[Cache Cameras]

I found a cache one time and it too had a disposable camera in it. I took my picture and replaced the camera. A few weeks later I received an email from the cache owner, asking if I'd like to identify my photo so he could put a name to the photo. The cache owner put all the photos on his website and it was up to us finders to put a name on the photo. If we wanted to stay anonymous, we could do so.

[FTF ideas]

Not necessary, but your call. I participate in "Where's George" and will often leave a bill to get it into circulation.

 

The type of prize, if you wish one, should depend on the difficulty of the cache.
