Hi, has anybody tried to use custom icons for geocaches? The "old way": saving a custom icon Traditional Cache.bmp to the folder Garmin\CustomSymbols\ does not work... Tobias

insig, could you tell us something about the speed using 50k waypoints? Is it usable any more? Uploading more than 4k waypoints to my 450t makes it so slow that it is not usable any more, moving the map one inch takes 10 to 20 seconds to refresh the screen (map with less details on internal memory, gpx also stored on internal memory). I live in berlin, 4k waypoints with my homelocation as center point means driving 15 minutes by car (any direction) and there are no caches on the screen any more :-(

Hi Jon, I updated the GC App on a TEST device (iPhone 4 16GB - Model A1332) running iOS 4.3.3 (8J2) to version 4.6.0 and it is set to German language. The update succeeded without any problems. Klicking "Meine vorhandenen Trackables anzeigen" (show trackables inventory) gives the result: "Es wurden keine Trackables gefunden" (no trackables found). Attaching a trackable to a log also doesn't work. On MY iPhone (4S, iOS 5.0.1, running GC App 4.5.9) I have 4 trackables in my inventory. I will NOT test 4.6.0 on MY iPhone. Since nearly every new release brings some new problems, I always wait until I know from community feedback that all the functions I need are working. I also hope that the bug "You have to enter a text before sending the fieldnote" will be fixed, I always have to enter e.g. a "A" to send a fieldnote. This does not make sense at all... Thanks! 4.6.0-Update: Trackables completely broken, inventory is always empty... No Release-Notes?

Hi, will there be a fixed version soon? Especially to download "self uploaded PQs" to the iPhone? At the moment, it is not possible to carry the solved mysteries (modified PQ) around with the iPhone...

Some bugs: 1. Additional Waypoints in cache description not shown any more (no way to see them any more) 2. "Overview" of a cache page: Numbers of total images not shown any more Before: "Fotos (4)" Now: "Fotos" 3. When opening "View at Geocaching.com", the user isn't logged in automatically any more 4. Favpoints not showing anywhere... hey, that's not so difficulty :-(

(EDIT: I found some shops now :-) Hi there from Germany :-) Does anybody of you have an idea where to get blank wooden nickels that are larger than 1.5" but smaller than 2"? My favorite would be something like 1.75". I googled for hours and hours, but i did not found a shop selling other sizes than the standards... Hope you can help me... btw.. very nice self made coins here in the topic :-) Tobias

I don't know if the website/database-update brought this problem, but it seems so: Since the update yesterday, my iPhone app (v4.1.2) doesn't give me any results for a 'search by name/adress' search any more... Hope you can fix thas soon...
