  1. Actually, the cache is in the stump! To help un-stump anyone: I did a clinic on paperless caching at Midwest Geobash last weekend. One of the topics I covered was selecting caches along a route in either MapSource or DeLorme Street Atlas using GSAK. Anyone wanting either of these Word documents, please send me an email thru my profile.

  3. I too had a great time and want to thank Trippy and Bjorn again for all the work they did on planning this event. Hopefully they will recover in time for the 06 GeoBash! I wish I had more time at the event to meet everybody, but the cachers I did meet were awesome! What a great time
  4. There is only one cache in the park and not too far from the campgrounds: Bike Trail There are at least 30 caches in Oxford (urban micros and trail), about five miles south of the park. Search for zip 45056.

  7. I was asking because I thought it would be nice to have a connection available for the Paperless Caching clinic I'm doing at the Pavillion on Saturday. That's on the Northside. We'll make do without and use offline paging ! I will have to check out DNR&R2's setup, tho, on the Southside. Sounds cool. Northside, Southside ... Sounds like we gotta geocity of our own! Looking forward to meeting everybody (well almost everybody). And oh yeh! I wanna party with this Stunod chainsaw dude !
  8. Will the mobile unit be making trips to the North side? Otherwise, how's that gonna help us North area folks?
  9. Went caching in the Findlay, OH area on Saturday with nine other cachers on one of my BVCY Hair-Brained cache outings. It was a wonderful day in the lower 70's with plenty of sunshine and great company. Snagged 31 caches with a confluence cache being the highlight cache of the day.
  10. Late or not .... Happy Birthday, Carleen!

  12. There are a number of Ohio counties that have the same 1 yr limitation. Best idea is to check with your local caching organization(s) for details about park regulations and permits for placing caches in your area.
  13. Yep, that be my all-time favorite, too!!! Had a real hard time understanding what language the OP was using. I won't comment any further, tho

  16. I'll also be more than happy to buy an annual pass.
  17. I'm gonna have to think on this one and do some research about where my Ohio tax dollars are going before I decide if an entrance fee is a good thing. My initial thoughts are it may be a good thing. But on the other hand?
  18. Hey, Joel! I just want to thank you again for adopting and taking real good care of my ex-Cigar Store Indian virtual I think you've done a great job ... it takes lots of effort to effectively manage a virtual. Cheers ... BVCY Swim
