This is the artwork for a design that I have been working on for a while. I am not ready to have these made, but thought that I would post the picture to see if I could get an idea of how much interest there would be for this coin and to get any suggestions or comments that others may have. The only thing that I am sure of right now is that if I do make the coin, they will be 1.75" coins. As far as colors and platings go, I am not positive yet. Those are really nice. I like them all, but the Blue/Antique Silver and the Blue/Black Nickel are my favorite of the 4.

I have been working on a website for the coins that I have designed. I have pictures and details about each coin (I am not selling the coins through the website). I am still working on the site, so there are a couple of coins that I have not completed listing, but the Home is Where the cache is page is done. Its a lot of fun seeing the package delivered and not knowing what treasures you might find inside. I received the package and inside were a jar of honey, some soap, a lighthouse lighter, cool postcards, a Christmas card with a coin inside, and tons of swag - very neat. Received a bunch of coins...many I have not seen before and my wife got a fairy coin that she had been wanting. Thanks everyone for participating and I hope that you enjoyed it.

Here are pictures of the coins. The colors really came out great. Here is the Mintstake edition (75 made) Here is the AE (25 made) So the error that was made is that the mint engraved "EyeD10T Proof" on the edges of all of the coins and not just the AE. My first reaction was to have them done again. I thought about it for a short while and decided that sometimes things happen for a reason. Here is a picture of the edges of the coins. I will be contacting those that reserved a coin tonight to make arrangements to get them shipped out. Today was a great Geocaching day. I went out early this morning to get some caching in...I only got 1 DNF out of all the caches that I looked for. When I got home, I found out that the Fed-Ex guy had visited while I was gone and left me a package. I am happy to announce that the cointest is now officially over and here are the winners: Cointest #1 - First to guess the estimated receive date Where'sMyMarbles Although there were many guesses that the estimated date would be February 14th, Where'sMyMarbles guessed correctly first in post number 36. Cointest #2 - Closest to the actual date and time received LewisClan77 The actual delivery date and time was Feb 13, 2012 at 9:47 AM. There were several times that the correct date was chosen, but LewisClan77 wins with a guess that was only 1 minute off in post #58 - February 13th @ 9:46am Cointest #3 - Random Draw scificollector I put everyone's name down that had participated in the cointest. The names were listed in no particular order. I assigned a number to each name and then ran a random numbers draw. The winner was number 11, which was scificollector Congratulations to the winners. Please send me an email via my profile and let me know your mailing address as well as choice of coin.

I dont think I was around when something like this happened before. I have read about people having issues with presales in general and I knew that potential was there, but from what I have been reading in this thread is that it seems like this vendor in particular has done this exact thing before. Am I reading this right?

I was going to post the pictures that the mint sent to me, but they didnt come out real clear so I decided to wait until I get the coins and can take the pictures myself. As far as the "mintstake" coins, I will tell everyone what the mintstake was when I post the pictures. Rest assured that the coins are in good condition. I dont think the mintstake was too serious - I figured that it was meant to happen. Rumor has it that the coins should be here any day now...Keeping my fingers crossed

I hope so too....still not sure of the date, but it has to be within the next month or 2!

I like them all, but the cold water and the asian pacific are my favorite ones.
