  1. Same for me, but I've managed to pick up a New Jersey souvenir due to the Peter Pan series (now defunct). going by the past(gifted) earned(however there given) 'Souvenirs', They will soon be retracted,
  2. Ta just logged back in and it worked Cheers
  3. In Your Account Details, in "Your Profile", click "Edit". Then scroll to the "Profile Details" box. It's the "Forum Signature" entry form. http://www.geocaching.com/account/editprofile.aspx Thank you
  4. how can i add my own blue txt after every comment i make? iv looked every were to add my Quote with no luck!!
  5. id like to know to! mine were just art by a name i cant remember
  6. Scanning the caches you have found I can not see that you should have any other than the 10/10/10 one, what have you lost? caches iv found! i was gifted 3 in 1 day after my 50 finds which was way after the 10.10.10...im y give um to just take them back "Gifted 3 in 1 day..." As others have said, the souvenirs appear on profiles according to which caches you've found in specific states/countries, although I know a few people have been awarded "stray" souvenirs for moving and/or locationless caches. It sounds like your "gift" may have been due to a temporary rift in the space time continuum which has now been corrected and patched up. MrsB 3 probably bit over the top, looked back on caches iv found to try work out when it was that Groundspeak gave me more like 2 souvenirs(by there mistake) but cant work out when!! iv never logged a cache iv not found so cant be my fault, but they have gone so i probably dint earn them, must of been "strays"

  8. i had at least 4 Souvenirs now only 1? i know its only art! i think it was on my 50th find i was given a few but they have gone?? any one else lost Souvenirs?
  9. I would have thought that if they were going to trash the cache they would have done it at the first visit, I can't see them leaving the cache intact and then coming back at a later date to trash it. As for the missing TB, they go missing from caches all the time (sometimes 'stolen' by genuine cachers), so its disappearance may have nothing to do with this incident. Very true but iv drove past there at night a few times and it seams to be a pop! spot for teens, hadnt worried about it before but feel its under threat now and will move it up the road 80m to the next bench were iv never seen them hanging about on,the saying a good spot can turn out to be a bad spot comes to mind! as for the TB il note to the owner hopefully it'l turn up
  10. Yes. We have one that got found by local muggle youngsters and it got quite a few random names and comments (all polite ones) added to the log book. We moved it about 30 yards and it's been fine since then. It's worth mentioning the initials, date and missing TB in your log so that the cache owner is aware. A similar note added to the TB's homepage is also helpful for the TB owner. MrsB Yea think it was kids as the initials all seam to be illnesses one being (vd) if you know were im coming from, Im the cache owner and im not sure if i should go and collect it and archive it for a week till i move it, or can i move it over a week and just put a note on cache page stating whats happened?
  11. Talking of Mysterious logs i went to one of my caches with my daughter to make her first find on her new account, Anyway got there opened log book to find what looked to be about 4 sets of initials and date of a few wks before, got back home to find there was a TB listed but not in the cache, so nearly a month now, not sure if it was muggles or will they log on the site later on as in this case? has any one had this happen?
  12. I love my OS map and old Garmin this is just robbing basic skills that technology seams to want to take from us (the oh so easy paper free) but yes iv looked and looks easy! but more money,,,having a map and using some basic skills is more fun i feel (disclaimer) my point of view only!
  13. The photograph has to have a URL. One of the easiest ways to give it a URL is to first add it to one of your cache logs, as you have with the photo you link to above. To put that photo into a forum post: Copy the URL link for the photo, then Click the + AddReply box to make a post Click on the little tree icon above the reply box This will open a separate little box - Paste the URL of your photo into that box Click OK That puts the link to your photograph into the forum reply box. Then add any title or comments as required. To see whether it's worked properly click "Preview Post" before you click the "Add Reply" to submit your post. MrsB Thank you MrsB hope this worked more to come

  20. . It would be a great shame if geocaching trended more and more towards ways of lining Garmin's pockets and less and less towards ways of getting more people into the great outdoors even if all they can afford is a basic Geko or Etrex. spot on this is an outdoor fun activity that gets you to places on your door step and more that you wouldnt have had the chance or even a clue was there,,i love this geocaching hunting and i only have an old Garmin and feel that good anoth for me over the summer my other half step daughter and Me have found some great places THANK YOU Geocache.com
