If your are gonna put out an ammo can or other nice geocache container, post it as a member only cache and put it out where the chances of someone accidentally bumping into it are slim to none ... this should reduce some of the thefts.

The geocache has been archived... is there another one out there where we can drop dead TB's?

I noticed a lot of users have stats showing on their profile and at the bottom it says: FindStatGen3 V3.9.90 by rutson and lignumaqua. I downloaded GSAK but can't figure out how to export the stats to my profile.... Can anyone help?

Hi all, I a newby at geocaching and i have a travel bug whose goal includes taking pictures in its travels. i can not figure out how to post those pictures on it's site. Can anyone help?

Hi all, i am brand new to Geocaching (35 finds or so) and i already want to upgrade my GPS. I curently use the apple iphone 3GS and it is extremely innacurate. I love the Groundspeak iphone app though. Now I know that there's is a lot of devices out there and that at the end of the day it comes down to personnal preference but I would like some advice to narrow my search a bit. I want a device that is very accurate to use alone or to complement my iphone app. It would have to be rugged and be able to withstand a couple falls and a few raindrop as the weather doesnt usually stop me from being out. As far as price goes, I am prepared to spend $200.00 but don't really want to go over $300.00. Any help is extremely appreciated Thanks

I am very new at Geocaching, and i have found a couple of travelbugs.... i am trying to figure out how to drop them off, when i go to the bug page i only see "write note" and "discovered it" in the log type drop down menu. i dont really understand why? because it is in my inventory already so why is there a discovered it option and no drop off option i saw on the trackable items home page, i see people that have logged an item as dropped or visited... where do i do that from? also i use iphone as my device and i figured out how to "grab" a trackable but again cant figure out how to drop it off help is appreciated
