Yes, my first (and only) cache, GCPEBN, uses one. I put some teflon tape on it for a seal.

I'd just do a goto and use the compass. Much easier.

For the GPSr-eTrex Legend. 8mb of memory, 1000 waypoints. If I'm correct, you can also get a palm program to transfer waypoints to the GPS, but I'm not sure. I use the combination of a Zire 21 (I paid $60 for mine, I'm sure you can get them for less) and CacheMate. CacheMate costs $8, but it's WELL worth it. It'll hold as many waypoints as you can put in its 8mb memory.

Uhm... If you leave a note in the physical log, it's a find unless you dropped a bug or something. And you shouldn't find them insulting, some people don't look in the same place you'd think to. How mad would you be if there were 5 DNFs in a row and then you found the cache was missing? I'd be happy that someone was DNFing it.

If someone hid a cache in PI, I wouldn't seek it. I'm usually rashy without the effects of urushiol due to eczema, so I'm fairly certain I'd have a reaction to PI.

No. Aren't IP addresses trackable? Sure, if you do a tracert on mine, it'll only show Topeka, KS, but can't they be traced with greater resolution than that?

On my pocket queries page, it still says I am allowed 20 queries, not 40. Is this a cookie or website issue?

I think powerbars taste kinda good. And what I remember from 4 years ago, the powergel type stuff does too. Then again, I haven't tried 2005 powergel. I did have a peanut powerbar though-yummy!
