This might have been asked and answered before, but I normally use GSAK on my pc, but now I have a Macbook, I would appreciate some help in finding a similar program/app for my Mac that supports Garmin Oregon 450. I have looked at iCaching and Geocache Manager.

I want to buy a map of southern England for my GPS , trouble is there are two types, Garmin topo and Garmin GB Discoverer, I can not find any links that will allow me to see what the difference is other then the price. I wondered if anyone has used either or both.

I have been asking about the garmin map62t , and the oregon seris, now I have been offered a Dakota 20, I am upgrading from my Gpsmap60cs and a palm pda for paperless caching. Has anyone experienced any problems with this GPS also would I be able to upgrade the memory with a SD card so that it would store more waypoint/Gpx files?

Im thinking of upgrading to the Oregon or the GPSmap62s, Is there a problem with reading the screen in bright sunshine with the Oregon ?

GPSMAP 62S locking or freezing up
Boomtown Cats replied to vagabond's topic in GPS technology and devices
i am thinking of buying one of these, so have garmin sorted out the freezes? -
We are at present using a GPSmaps 60cs and a Palm PDA for paperless caching, and would like to upgrade to the 62s, so that we dont have to carry two units around with us, also the palm is getting a bit dated. Can anyone tell me how many GPX files we will be able to download to the 62s, or does it depend on the size of the SD card? also will all the information on the geocaching information be stored? Also does it still have the ''arrow'' to follow? Thanks in advance

I know its been asked before , but I cant find the subject, so here goes yet again!!, I want to adopt a cache, but cannot get a reply from the owner, where do I go from here please?

Its just an express logger, not summit only to log loads of caches as such. http://boulter.com/geocaching/express/

That site still won't upload finds and logs to geocaching.com, will it? To enter a find and a log on geocaching.com don't we still have to visit each cache page and type out a log? But since the OP has 154 finds over three years, I don't understand how much time would be saved anyway using a batch logging/uploading process. Well thanks to those who did try to help, but I found the site I was looking for.. BTW I didn't realise that with only 154 finds over three years , I shouldnt post in the forum to risk sarky comments. Thanks once again for the help

with this site you can log in all your finds at the same time without visiting each cache listing

A while ago I was given a site that we could log in our found caches, and my computer had to be reformatted and so I lost the addy I had in favorites. I know someone out there will know the one I mean (hopefully)

First Gps few questions Tomtom920 possibly
Boomtown Cats replied to velasc0's topic in GPS technology and devices
Im not sure but I dont think TomToms are for Geocaching as such, unless you use them to get you to the parking area, etc but I still think that you will have to purchase a handheld GPS or PDA -

Boomtown Cats replied to Boomtown Cats's topic in GPS technology and devices
I posted the above yesterday but didnt get any replies, so I take it that I cannot use a PDA on its own without my Garmin GPSmap 60CS? -
I want to start paperless geocaching, and would like to purchase a cheapish PDA, what program would I require to be able to use just the PDA and so leave my Garmin GPSmap 60CS to my daughter to get her started. Im in the UK btw
