  1. To alay your fears have a look at my player account. One of the major factors in my selection was the fact that I was already the forum mod so I was already giving back to the community but add to that my experience as a cacher and hey presto I was offered the job. Also have a feeling that as I was known by two of the existing reviewers my character was able to be assesed and therefore my ability/suitability to do the job. 2. Right, I think it's time to close this thread as it's gone way off topic. If anyone wants to carry it on please feel free to use the Off Topic forum.

  4. Looks like there are other people having the same problem. It could be related to the hardware upgrade. I would recommend emailing Groundspeak if you are having any problems. That way it will be logged on their system. 8. Bradford City - "The Bantams"? Or Bradford Park Avenue - "Avenue"? I assumed he was from Stockport or Luton, as I said on the previous thread. Humphrey, I'm from Stockport originally. Home of Stockport County - "The Hatters"
  9. It'll be some dash from here to the West Mids
  10. Ok Ok Time to stop Mad Hatter having to deflect all the guesses. I am and always have been paulbarratt. Only one person guessed correctly but since he didn't post it in the forum I denied it outright to him. Well done mongers. You will have to tell me exactly how you figured it out. I'm based in Bradford, West Yorks (not too far from DalesmanX/Two Tykes). To all you lovely West Midlanders, I will try and get to an event in the next couple of months. 11. It is purely the CO who decides if their caches should be Premium Member Only (as long as they are a PM). Groundspeak offer this option to Premium Members and have no say in how that option is exercised. 15. Teehee - as I already know who you are I'm just going to sit back and watch the other guesses roll in..... one and the same? I hope not - not even I'm that mad well do you realise the phrase "as mad as a hatter" really meant that. Due to the fact that Hatters when making their product used Mercury, and the fumes rotted their brains . Personally I've never made hats whilst using Mercury, so I must have a another reason for the last 4.5 years unless it's all a dream Sorry but it's not vix92008 so that's another name to be crossed off the list of suspects to add to Tia, as she knows no one Deci I'm off to sniff some mercury fumes....apparently
  16. I'm now taking bets on how long it is before keehotee comes up with up the right answer.
  17. Ding Ding!!!!!!!!! I will be filling Chiastolite's shoes as soon as I have finished with my training. Don't worry forum people, I will still be moderating. I am going to reveal my identity soon but if someone guesses it correctly I will confirm it. All the best to Chiastolite. If you have any tips for West Mids then please let me know....hehe
