  1. I love the way the texture comes out on the Asgard coin, and the colours on Yggdrasil! Will all versions be on all websites later (except AE)? I'm thinking that shipping might be lower for me from wellner.se, but I won't want to risk not getting the versions that I'm hoping for.

Mission Received: 16.10.2013 I received a very interesting mission yesterday! I'm sorry, i am travelling and didn't take the card with me, but I'm quite sure it came from ouestcharly. Thank you! That card was a REAL halloween card, that's for sure. It startled me a lot when it started playing music once I opened it! I also received not only a geocoin, but a micro coin, a wooden coin, a p-tag AND a button! Wow! Thanks for the mission. Hoping to see the mission that I sent out, arrive at its recipient.
  3. The viking ship geocoin is the Geocoin club geocoin of May 2013, named Norse Vegivir. More details on this coin page: http://coord.info/TB5T06H
  4. I have received a few offers to help me bidding for the auctions. Thank you so much! So, unless you have an agreement with me, please don't bid on those auctions with me in mind... We will outbid myself... Of course, I'm not trying to ask anyone not to bid for themselves.
  5. I miss two carousel lions for my collection of carousel animals. Both are available at the eplace - seller is willing but not able to change to accept Norwegian bids. Does anyone have these carousel coins for trade? Or want to attempt a bid, in exchange for something from my trading list? Carousel Lion Black W/ GLITTER and Red Gem Carousel Lion Geocoin-Satin Gold W\Orange Enamel and Green Gem Here are my traders, but I would consider trading some of my non-carousel KEEPER coins for these lions. 8. Am I reading this correctly - is the cointest only open to those who are in possession of a steam punk robot geocoin. Other geocoins cannot be used in the photos?

  10. Nice looking design! But what is the difference between the artwork for USA and Europe? I am looking for something related to December 11th vs November 12th, but I cannot spot it...
  11. Ooh, an ancient compass rose! Congratulations!
  12. Very nice! I will certainly consider adding this one to my collection. Any information about the other editions yet?
  13. Sending out coin Vs keeping at home? A bit of both, I guess! When I first discovered geocoins, I sent out the ones that I bought. A few of them were certainly collectable (i.e. a 2007 Norwegian coin), others were more mass production types of coins. After a while, realizing that most of them disappear quite soon... I started buying only the coin designs that I liked the most, for my private collection. Some of the designs are true pieces of art, that I can study over and over again! However, I don't have anywhere to display my collection. Now and then I activate a few coins to take to local events, but most of the time, there are no other geocoin enthusiasts at our events. Most people seem to think private collections are a bit strange (and I only bring 5-10 coins!!), and most only care about getting the tracking number, not the actual design or coin story. So, recently, I have started sending out a few of my "collection coins". I am hoping that people will appreciate the one coin that they find in a geocache, more than the 30 they see at an event. I'm hoping to get some nice logs and nice journeys before the coin disappears. Personally I can still admire the photos of that coin. And there is always the excitement that a missing coin reappears after some years. Chances are better with 50 coins out there, than with 5. There are still some coins that I'll never send out, that's why I'd go with a bit of both.
  14. This is a very nice offer! I just had a very good time going through my long missing geocoins and looking at their goals and stories. I picked out the three most interesting ones (and most definitely missing ones), hoping for some help getting them resurrected. Thank you, 4B Ohana!
  15. Very nice! It has been ages since I joined a mission. Looking forward to it! 1. Participating: 19.9.2013 2. Received Name 3. Mission Complete 4. Mission Received
  16. Excellent news, avroair! Mr Grey, we still believe!
  17. Nah... Those eyes aren't fooling me. Still looks like a clove of garlic.
  18. Any news about any special releases during GCF?
  19. Haha, cute thing! Looking a lot like a clove of garlic.
  20. 4B Ohana, what a great offer you are giving! I would love to have a few of my long lost geocoins resurrected, especially from Hawaii! I will need a little while to get the details together, but I plan to contact you within a couple of weeks, hoping that you will still be able to help with resurrecting the most meaningful geocoin travellers.
  21. Hi! We recently spent 4 days on Iceland, with a few geocaches each day. Driving "the golden circle" is probably a must, and will take you to some of the most popular earthcaches + a few trads. However, I have two other favourites, that might fit your travel company well: Hot bathtube: http://coord.info/GC1VEJ9 A relatively short and easy hike, in an area with several mud pots and similar, ending with a nice bath in a hot river! Exploring lava caves, length 20-350 meters, i.e. this one: http://coord.info/GC1PXCF Well, we didn't find the geocache in the lava cave that we visited, but those 100 meters of adventure, colours, shapes, smells are priceless. The cave was just 15-20 meters from the parking area. There are several such cave geocaches, published by the same geocacher. Good luck!
  22. Thank you! I have logged the virtual and the TB hotel before. Tomorrow I will wait 3 hours for a colleague, so I hope to find GC292CK!
  23. Is there any update about geocaches reachable from Frankfurt airport by foot? There are so many mystery geocaches in the area, but I don't know which of them are reachable by foot from the airport...
