Hi all I'm sure there are some mountaineers amongst the caching community besides myself. Well, I have orgainsed a mountaineering lecture to come to Oswestry in Shropshire. The bloke is Ted Atkins, an accomplished mountaineer, inventor of the Topout Oxygen System (the most widely used oxygen system on Everest), an ex RAF engineer, an author and a pedigree public speaker. We use it sometimes for a few days of caching, we're going upto Yorkshire then Cumbria at the end of the month with the YHA. Fairly cheap, great facilities, ideal for the cooler months. I recommend it (Also try haggerling, it usually works)

I was hill-walking with my Grandad (now Top Team "180") up Arenig Fawr, N Wales. When we approached the summit a couple of men (Wraggy) said are you doing the same silly thing as us, we replied no looking confused. They showed us the cache at the summit (Pandora's Box) and it all started from there. Guess Who?
