  1. I attempted a night cache/hike in the mountains once a few weeks back. Found all caches, but was extremely dark. Left the trail by midnight and the moon was not out so it was pitch black to say the least. Here is a video from the trip from my blog:
  2. Yup, he had it right: http://www.geocaching.com/about/glossary.aspx Thanks! Just got back on a computer and noticed you found it for me!
  3. I believe in 'resources' on the geocaching site, there is a list of terms. Currently on my phone so I can't post the link, but I will later when I find it.
  4. My profile is nothing special...but you can check out my blog to read about my geocaching adventures! Link in signature.
  5. I believe he is correct. I mean, Geo125's profile pic is a guitar pick!
  6. Wow! That is an awesome cache! The owner spent some time making that one.
  7. Thanks for all the support, but I'm having a bit of a problem, and am not sure what to do. The thing is, I checked my blog on 3 different browsers, Google Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer. The blog looks normal on Chrome, and Firefox, but completely messed up on Internet Explorer! I don't use Internet Explorer so had no idea this was happening. If I change it to look good for IE, it looks different on the other 2...so what should I do? Any suggestions?
  8. Welcome to the addiction! 7 is a lot for your first time! Good luck in the future!
  9. Sure that's not a match container? Haha, either way, nice find!
  10. Sounds like you have big plans! I hope you and your daughter have fun on your caching adventures!
  11. Your not the only one. Check here: http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showtopic=257897
  12. Thank you! Got a new camera so more videos will be added now!
  13. Thanks! I will try to figure out someway to have the GC-code/link but have it hidden or some warning so only those that want it can see it.
  14. Nick, I actually really like the background picture. It gives the page a nice desert feel, and provides a nice context for your pictures. Speaking of pictures -- you have some very nice pictures there! I enjoyed glancing through them, and they made me want to be there too. When a photo makes you want to be there, it's a compelling one. I'm not much on blogs, so I didn't read much, but it looks like you've had a good time recounting your adventures. Looks like a fun project for you! Nice job. Thanks! Yeah, writing is something I enjoy, so geocaching gives me something to write about!
  15. Ah shoot. Commas never were my friend! Thanks for looking!
  16. I'm glad you enjoy it! Thank you for the kind words!
  17. Wow! That is awesome! Thank you so much! I will definitely remember this the next time I write a story about a trip. I would love to publish my stories onto your online magazine for others to read. Thanks again!
  18. Thank you for the tips. Will defiantly think about some sort of spoiler alert. I was going for a good picture to text ratio, without over-doing either one. I'm glad you noticed!
  19. I've just had a look at your blog and this was one of my first thoughts too. I'm no expert on blogs but to me it looks very good and your stories are well written. I wonder whether you're aware of the Online Geocacher ezine? You seem to enjoy writing and I bet they'd be pleased to have some material from you. Well done. MrsB Thank you! I wasn't aware of the Geocacher ezine, but I will defiantly look into it! Writing is something I enjoy doing, but I never had a good topic to write about that could be entertaining...until geocaching came along! Thanks again for the feedback!
  20. Thank you for your feedback! I'm will look into checking that out. I do sometimes stumble and repeat things when they shouldn't be. Thanks again!
