  1. I'm wondering if anyone knows how to input the waypoints on the latest caches into the GPS. They have always been six digits and that is the limit the GPS will take but I notice recent caches have been allocated 7 digits, ie GC is now GCD plus the numbers. Any help will be appreciated! Thanks.
  2. I also would like to donate so you can keep your collection. It sounds like you have enough turmoil in your life right now and should not have to part with these coins that as a group and individually mean a lot. Hopefully, a paypal addy can be arranged for people to donate. Good luck! I hope 2006 is a brighter time for you. Beanichick
  3. Hi there, I would like one of each. Looking forward to more info. Thanks, nice coin. Beanichick
  4. Yahoo, got my order emailed in for 3 Gold coins. Thanks very much for this unique geocoin! Beanichick
  5. I also would like to know where to go to get the activation code for the MIGO geocoin. I went to the website and it has a spot for logging the coin but no info re activation. I emailed them with no response so far. Please let me know if anyone finds out - thanks.
  6. I would like to propose a category that deals with all time related items. Examples would include: Time capsules, clocks, cornerstones, Centennial projects such as trees. Time capsules: would be asked for their location, when they were placed, what was put in the capsule, what date it will be opened and a picture of the time capsule. Any added information would be welcomed. Clocks would include various types of clocks such as water wheel clocks, public clocks such as Big Ben, clocks in unique shapes and sizes. Information required would include location of the clock, what method of operation is used, and picture of the clock. People would be encouraged to provide additional data regarding where and when it was built, who looks after it, etc. Cornerstones: location, date placed, who placed it, in honour of who or what, and a picture of the cornerstone. Ideally, the picture would allow the viewer to read the data. Centennial projects could include any item built, planted, or in any way designated to honour centennials of a city, country, or organization. This section could be subdivided into those areas. Thanks for considering this category. Sheila
  7. Speaking as someone who owns some geocoins, I would much rather use them as virtual coins than risk losing them. They cost me hard-earned money and I really don't want them to disappear into someone's personal collection. I'm speaking of coins such as Compass Rose, etc. The much cheaper U.S./Canada coins, while still wanting to travel rather than sit, are easier to obtain and therefore have a higher chance of staying mobile. For my coins, I keep them with me and allow cachers I meet to log them.
