  1. Thank you so much for the fix. Yes, took awhile, but we finally got it. That's all that counts. Yeah.
  2. Keystone: It looks like I created one big mess of things with my posting here on this site and with you. It is totally my fault for making the statement for the movement of this thread that others have responded to. I thought it was moved from the 'Bugs' to 'Website', not the other way around. Now I know that this is the correct location for this thread and we appreciate moderators like yourself, to keep all of us posting in the right location. I surely made a mess of things with my post and I am sorry for that. I hope this 'movement' subject would just go away and we get back to the subject at hand, which is Geocaching Google Earth Viewer isn't working and hoping it will be addressed by someone so that it can get fixed. So again, I apologize for my posting to begin with which caused such a hassle. And thank you for your moderator time you put forth. On the other hand, you state that somehow you manged to have fun hunting for more than 7500 geocaches without using GE. Sorry for that as well as it is a very useful tool for geocaching that saves me a mess of time. I bet it would also be beneficial for you if you give it a try. If and when it gets fixed that is. 3. Premium members have also lost this usage, not just members only.
  4. Being new to this forum, I thought I saw where this tread was moved 'from' where I thought was the spot to report bugs. I guess I was incorrect. Just thought it wasn't being addressed as a bug problem in the category for bugs. Sorry for my interpretation.
  5. I also have noticed that 'Geocaching Google Earth Viewer' is no longer working on my computer. Noticed this a couple of days ago. I have reinstalled Google Earth Pro and the Geocaching Google Earth Viewer and it still is not functioning properly, actually not at all. I use this tool often and would like to see it worked out to be useful again. Just don't know who to contact to find out what is going on and if indeed anything is being done. I guess if enough of us post this problem, it might get noticed and something done with it, or at the very least, to inform us as to what is being worked on by somebody.
  6. Thanks Rock Chalk for this url. I too like the old search because I can put in a few words of the name of a cache and it will find it, not so with the updated one. You have to have a lot of the information already to find the cache page with the newer one. I use it to find those caches I don't have all the info on. Hope it comes back like it was so we could chose.
  7. Guess I'll have to try later on today and if I have to, tomorrow. Tnks.
  8. Myself and another cacher were trying to award a Fav Point to the cache GC5YD82 and it indexes to one greater, two (now only one listed)but when the page is refreshed, it goes back down to only one. Have tried this several times and my Fav Point just disappears. A bug?
  9. Thank you for your replies. Garmin Support basically said it's a no go for what I wanted to accomplish with just using my GPSr. Sorry it took so long to respond. Thanks again.
  10. First of all, I do transfer my gpx files into my GPSr by the use of EasyGPS. Seems to work for me just great. As far as my snapshots, I was wanting to take the shot of the entire screen which would not only include the coordinates but also my selected headings on top. These could include Accuracy, Heading, Coord's, or even other pages and Elevation for instance. So no, I am not just interested in coord's but all the other possibilities also. I am planning a cache and using a Projected Waypoint to locate a cache and would like that shot along with elevation as an example. I just didn't provide all this information to begin with because I didn't know it was important. I guess you techy people need all the what's and how's. Sorry I didn't provide it to begin with. Anyway, all I was trying to do simply was to be able to take the snapshot of my entire screen, no matter which screen, and then be able to send it in an email perhaps later. My guess is that it is not possible at this time WITH OUT THE USE OF A LAPTOP.
  11. I have only owned my GPSMAP 60CS for about three months now and I am still learning the different features this machine has to offer. Today I downloaded and installed update software Ver. 4.00 for my 60CS along with xImage ver 2.3. I have experimented with the xImage software and was able to transfer a snapshot of the 60CS to my desktop. Love this feature. However, here is my question: How can I take a snapshot of my 60CS in the field (like the coord's for a particular cache) and be able to save that snapshot until I get back home to my PC to make the transfer through xImage? I do not have a laptop to do this with in the field nor do I own a Palm unit at this present time. I do not know if it is even possible to do this with a Palm unit? I realize that xImage is basically used for the tranferring of waypoint symbols to and from the GPSr and PC. My manual only says on page 27 to use the help files and there is no information there that I can use for my particular problem. Any suggestions?
  12. Here is another perspective on what is already given. Quersumme: sum of digits of a number (die ... quersumme bilden - (Math) to add the digits in a number. (Bilden: to make a picture, to create; to make). Alltogether, now: Quersumme means adding each digit in a number of two or more digits, together, to create a sum of the digits. Guess I missed that by a mile. So the Quersumme of 546 is 5 plus 4 plus 6 equals 15. Hope this helps. Had to inquire from my uncle for this one.
