Nope, the computer still shows it as an "Unknown Device", no matter what I do.

It still doesn't change the fact that my computer doesn't recognize the Explorist as discribed on the Magellan website because the computer says there are no drivers installed, yet I did install them.

Yes it is a complete lemon since I can't get it to work in conjunction with my computer and I am getting ZERO help in rectifying the problem. I think I'll just stick with a Garmin Etrex Legend.

Hello folks, I'm having issues with my new Explorist GC connecting to my computer. When I connect the GPS to the computer with the supplied USB cord, the computer states that it doesn't recognize the unit. So any help will appreciated.

I am also having a bit of a problem with my new Explorist GC, for some reason my computer won't even recognize it at all. Is there some way or some place I can actually find drivers for my computer so it can recognize it?
