Thumbs Down. Tim Hortons is akin to the walmart proposal,mcdonalds and Burger king. You see them way to much anyhow whenever you drive somewhere - anywhere in Canada. I'm sorry but i kinda find these tacky!

As opposed to my proposal of Gold Dig sites this category, I propose to be made up of the Locations of Historical Gold Rush Sites. Inclusive in the information could be if old buildings and or relics remain as well as the dates the place was active and just a bit of general history. This would not be a site for active Gold fossicking unless it is designated a public gold fossicking site, as gold fossicking is damaging to the enviroment and to waterways. Again - i would be happy to manage this category. Whats your thoughts?

A good idea - I would assume you would be opening this category up for hiking and tramping trails internationally or did you want to make it specific to a country - which could be beneficial as that way you could say something to the effect of Hiking trails in Colorado and then anybody hiking in Colorado would have a list available to them. Just a thought?

I would propose a category where Gold digging sites could be listed. These would be places where people can currently go and fossik for gold either by pan or small sluice. Not commercial gold finds. Also not to be confused with old historical gold finds etc where fossicking would damage the place and be detrimental to the historical value and nature of the place. I would be prepared to manage this one! Historical Gold Finds and Towns will be another proposal!

Thumbs up for this idea - wish i had thought of it myself. And yes - Wine festivals could be another option!

Could include waterfalls that are either unusual or have a good degree of scenic value, not just a usual sewer run off or a ditch drop!

A couple of Categories I would like to propose are * Waterfalls * Back Country Huts and Lodges (that require a hike into) * Gold Digging sites * Caves * Archeological Sites

Saskatchewan doesn't fair very well huh!

There is a sad lack of Geocachers here in Saskatchewan unfortunately. People just haven't really cottoned on to it yet even though there are a considerable amount of people running around with a GPS . Around North Battleford where i am I count only about 5, maybe 6 people who are doing it . Feel free if you are travelling through this way to look some up - they can be found on the keyword search of : YLHDSK. Cheers
