  3. Hi there, I would like to post a TB to you for the event (I'm not sure whether it will be in time though - I want to try anyway) :-) Could you please provide me with a postal address where I can send it to? Thanks for your help!
  4. Hi there, I'm leaving for the north on Sat 16 Jun and invites all travelbugs/geocoins who want a lift to the Arctic to join me. Please contact me so we can arrange a pickup somewhere close to the Centurion side of Pretoria. I'm planning to make a quick dash to see the midnight sun in far northen parts of Swedish Lapland as a side trip to a business visit.
  5. Hi there, Could anyone that has contact with SA Rascals please ask them to disclose the whereabouts of TB Kayak Racer by logging it on the TB page as "picked up"? They have removed it from "Across an Olive" on March 4th but didn't log it on the TB page. They are not responding to my emails due to some comms problem. Thanks for your help. BJBez
  6. It seems like Brick's valid point had a considerable impact on the race. Has anyone else also felt like opening a thread with the title "Geocachers that can't read" to air their frustration? It's sad that the fun of the game is sometimes spoilt in this way.
  7. Does anyone know of a TB bus going to Durbs and back urgently?
  8. C'mon everyone, we can't give up now! The race has exactly 50 days to go. Let's see some travelbug movements.
  9. It would be super if you could place Kayak Racer in the pitstop for Seeker Two to bring back. Thanks!
  10. For all the Valies travelling down to the Eastern Cape - could someone pleeeeaaasseee give Kayak Racer a lift? He is currently waiting in the Sandriver cache near Ventersburg on the N1. Much appreciated!
  11. I'm trying my best to try and convince some buddies of mine to start out with geocaching - even took a few of them to Forest Getaway and they enjoyed it all. Perhaps I should mention this "1st cacher in the province" thing :-)
  12. Interesting to read what you all do. In the times my wife and I get away from raising twin boys (almost 4) and a little girl (almost 2), I'm an avionics engineer and she's a sport scientist. Yeah, I'm the lucky bugger who gets to fly the Hawk flight simulator (amongst other things) up in Makhado every two weeks and call it my job :-)
  13. Any help to get TB Kayak Racer back to Gauteng will be much appreciated! It looks like the road to the Eastern Cape goes through here. Thanks!
  14. Hi GlobalRat, Where can I find the newest list of cache scores for the race?
  15. Hi Warthog, I've got a surfing kangaroo TB that wants to get near J'Bay or any place along the coast. Will you be able to help? Thanks!

TVM, thanks for the congrats. What a day it was! I started out 08h00 and finished 18h00 - I'll publish some of the pics shortly. It took about two days to plan the route around the Belair National Park in Adelaide, South Australia. It was surprisingly beautiful, not just a bunch of Eucelyptus trees on the flats, but quite a bit of climbing. So far I maintain that Adelaide must be a Geocachers Utopia, apart from the Western Cape, of course (untill AE_Rodney will probably prove me wrong in the US). I hope Liza the Lizard finds her way to the Outback. Congrats to GlobalRat who must have the most FTFs in one day - 7! This is the type of stuff you normally can't plan days ahead. Well done GR.

Congratulations to Cache-fan and Whostops on their first centuries. I hope that the great feeling when you reach your hundredth cache stays with you and that you keep on enjoying being in the outdoors. Keep it up!

Congrats to Bear & Fox with your achievement of finding 100 caches. Wow, it amazes me how fast you did it. Let's see if we can catch these Majors above us on the ladder!
  22. Thanks Discombob and Top Billing! I managed to watch most of it in-between the super-active-hour-just-before-bedtime-madness of the twins. Great stuff!

Congrats Cownchicken on your 200! Wow, you guys at the top of the ladder are setting high standards. Good work.
  24. Try to do Shakespear's Garden (GCMW4J) and The Tree in the middle (GCMY3D). They are close to each other and in a beautiful area.
