  1. You could come to the event and purchase one SORRY A LITTLE TO FAR 4 ME!!! MY Other option is to bribe you!! Well, you might even win one here. Who knows? Bribes could work too On the other hand, we have someone coming from Alberta Canada
  2. You could come to the event and purchase one
  3. I really like 4 and 6. Maybe 4 just a tad more
  4. I'd love to catch one of these. I can't wait until they go on sale
  5. I saw another coin give away this morning on the forums and thought, "Hey, I can do that too". It's a good way for someone to grab a free LE Allegany State Park Geocoin. The rules are simple. 1. Guess the number of people attending the ASP Geobash II this weekend and post it on this thread. One guess per day per person. If you enter more than one guess per day, the next correct guess will be the winner. In case of correct duplicate guesses, the first guess will be the winner. Our official logbook will the only number considered. The final number in the log book is the official number of people attending. All winning guesses must be submitted by 12:00 Noon on Saturday May 19th. Only one coin will be awarded. Good Luck
  6. Ditto. I can't express the heartfelt thanks all the committee members send to all the wonderful people and organizations that have donated so generously for the event. So many people throughout the US and Canada and even from overseas have donated to help make the event a success. We continue to get unexpected donations each day. To all these people, Many Thanks!! And for everyone, if you can't make it this year, plan on coming to next years "Mega-Event" PS. Don't worry about the snow. It seldom sticks this late in the year Donors List: http://bradfordpa.net/Judy/GeobashII/GeobashII_Index.html
  7. We'd love to get a couple. My wife is from Maple Creek originally so we'll be looking for it. Thanks
  8. Let me help too. I know how important donations are to an event and people here always step up to help. Drop me you address. Thanks
  9. I have a Run for the Roses three coin set available for trade. Not sure what I'm looking for so make me an offer through my profile. Thanks
  10. I too have seen a few sheets instead of the books. But for myself, I like the books. Everything stays together and it seems so much neater.
  11. Seeing how it's tax time, I'd like to say thanks to the nice tax people for giving me some of my money back. Thanks guys
  12. Everyone has been so generous donating for the ASP Geobash ( May 18,19, 20 <-shameless plug) that I would like to repay some of that kindness. Unfortunatly I do not have my own personal geocoin but I do have some traders that I would like to donate. If you'll send me an address I drop off a couple of coins for the event. Wish I could be there but I can't this year. Wish you the best on your event
  13. Send me your address and I'll be glad to help out. Everyone was so helpful when I asked. And keep pounding the pavement. We did fairly well around our small area. It just takes walking in and asking nicely. But be sure to have a formal request on paper with you. If you need an example, take a look at my profile page. We submitted a formal request plus had a couple of pages on Geocaching information. And even if they said no, we invited them to the event
  14. This is probably the coin you are looking for. You can try here but it's not real cheap
  15. The AlleganyState Park GEOBASH II is just around the corner. This years event promises to be bigger and better than last year. The event is on the 18th, 19th, and 20th of May so the weather should be fantistic. Okay, so we had a little snow last year . Put that aside and focus on the happenings during the event. We'll have a Chili and soup dinner, a bonfire, and an open mic on Friday night. The ASP Geobash Event Store will also be open. Many event caches are planned, a geocaching seminar, a Raffle with many great items including some super geocoins, and of course the Spaghetti dinner on Saturday. Also planned for Saturday is the The Geocoin Expo. Both the novice and die-hard collectors will enjoy this. We will have a very special guest talk about Geocaching, the sport’s history and most recent developments. And don't forget about the Event Coin You'll certainly want to grab one of these. We'll close out the event on Sunday with a Pancake Breakfast. There is something for everyone at the event. Keep up with the latest developments here. And of course if you have anything you would like to donate to the event, nothing is too big or too small, please contact either wolfmaster@atlanticbb.net or any committee member. Thanks
  16. Thanks a million PaRacers. I can't wait to see this one. It's coins like this that are going to make the ASP Geobash the place to be in May. So if you are only 4, 5, or 6 hours away, even further, make sure you stop by. We are anxious to see everyone. And remember, if you have that extra coin to donate, please contact me or any of the Geobash Committee members. Take a look at the coins that will be there at http://bradfordpa.net/Judy/GeobashII/GeobashII_Index.html Only 51 days left, but who's counting?
  17. What started out as a great day went rapidly downhill. I received a August 2005 First Finders Dance, a ??Mystery Puzzle coin, and three Isle of Man coins today. Then my wife received the credit card bill
  18. We'd like to thank everyone again who has donated and promised donations to the event. We look forward to seeing those who can make it and we'll miss seeing those of you that can't make it this year. Judy has made a little Thank You Page for the donors. We have many more things to post here as pictures come available so check back often. Again, thanks for all your generosity.
  19. We've gotten a good response for donations but can always use more. If you are planning on coming and haven't seen our event coin, here it is. If you're interested in Geocoins and are in the area, this is the place to be. Our Geocoin Expo will be held on Saturday May 19th and this year promises to be better than last year. Some of the coins that will be at the expo are ALASKA 2006 SILVER/GOLD, COMPASS ROSE, EMERALD VALLEYS CACHERS GOLD, Groundspeak VOLUNTEER 2005, LEMON FRESH GEOBONE, MIDWEST GEOBASH 2005 AND 2006, NORTHWESTERN PENNSYLVANIA 2005 SHIP, NWPA 2006 AND 2006, PACKMAN LE BLACK NICKEL, PENNSYLVANIA 2004 BRASS, PI MATH PUZZLE BLUE, SWEET LAKE CITY NIGHT, WORKEROFWOOD, THE COMPLETE GCC COLLECTION LESS THE FIRST FINDERS DANCE (if anyone wants to sell or trade me for this, it would complete my collection and I would make it worth your while ), and many more. So come if you can.
  20. I have a Ranger216 Engine and Caboose in Silver. It is the #3 of the set. Looking for any interesting trades. Thanks
  21. Thanks PaRacers and thanks to those who have contacted me through my profile. The coin expo looks to be very exciting. I'm anxious to look, buy, sell, and trade some of the coins that will be there from other cachers. Last year was great and we're hoping this years will be even better. Thanks again.
  22. The time is fast approaching for the Allegany State Park GEOBASH II. This is the second annual ASP Geobash event held in the Southern Tier of New York State. And like any other event, we are looking for geocoin donations. If you’re anything like me, you have that pile of extra geocoins for trades or donations. Why not put your extras to good use and donate them to the ASP Geobash. Each donation will be proceeded by announcing the geocacher who donated the coin. There is no charge for the event or any of the food at the event so the donations will help offset the cost of these and other costs. If at all possible, please consider a donation. Thanks
  23. I am looking for "When Pigs Fly" geocoin. See my trading list below. Thanks
  24. Hey, so did I Here is one of my #3's
