  2. Hi everyone, Does anyone know of a way that caches can be lloaded to and saved on a microsd card rather than directly onto the unit. I have no problems saving them onto the unit, and have an sd card for additional maps. However if i save caches onto the sd card the unit does not show them. Is there a way to solve this? Also does anyone know of any cool Dakota tricks? Many Thanks in advance Daz
  3. I have a look and i can see no one that is team jellyfish, nor can i see anything matching the tracking code, starting with MC or anything matching it in the pictures. Other than that there isnt a lot i can do. I have message Spire67 as we are both members of another group, and i will see if i can get you some more info. Daz
  4. I've had a scan through the images and can't see one matching your coin. It could even be that someone has just put the tracking number in the group.
  5. Cachers coins is a group on Facebook for geocoin collectors to share their coin collections. There does however seem to have been a recent trend for cachers to find coins, take pictures and then post them on the page, with the trackable number showing. When cachers are trying to complete challenges where you must have logged or discovered a number of coins to claim a find on a cache then they are using this to up their numbers. The admins of the group have stipulated that you should only post images of coins that you own and that you are willing to allow to be discovered. Sadly this is being ignored by many users who are posting as I have mentioned above. My only suggestion is that you join said group, find the image of your coin, which will then go some way towards identifying the name of that cacher who took the original picture and posted it. Then you may be able to demand that the admins remove your coins picture.

  10. Hi All, Asking on behalf of a friend that has the Desire.... Is there any way of getting the co-ords up? I believe she is using the official Groundspeak app for finding caches, but now wants to hide her own and doesnt seem to be able to get it to display the co-ords. Is it possible through the geocaching app and she is just missing something? Is there a app already on the phone? Would appreciate your thoughts! Thanks Daz
  11. And to follow... Having played about it is now working ok, but what filter would i select to show a churchyard, as i have fell foul of this before? Thanks Daz
  12. Hi All, I have placed a couple of caches over the weekend. When i went to check their location on Magic Map it to make sure they were in the right places, i found it not working and not loading maps. Can anyone suggest why this is or an alternative site so that i can make sure the caches are located in places that are ok, and im not going to end up running about and moving them because they are on a special monument or in a church boundry. Many Thanks Daz
  13. Hi All, I could do with some help with this one as well. We have just got a C7 having previously used a 5800 with location on it which has worked really well. 16. Hi I have tried using geocacheing live with my nokia. But for some reason it will not connect to gps, even though i can have the onboard gps working. I use my 5800 for caching and can manage a good day out before it dies, but im really irritated that the gps function on the 5800 wont work with live. Has anyone else had this or is it just me? Thoughts and suggestion appreciated Daz
