  1. If you can find some events in your area they are a great place to meet cachers from the area and they often form groups that then go caching. Nothing like going out with the pro's. Sometimes you can find events aimed at newbys. Save up and get a gps, it will be worth the investment.

  2. Hi everyone! I am looking for an inexpensive GPS receiver for my nephew. He has quite a few caches in his neighborhood/surrounding area and I think it would be neat for him to learn how to use a gps unit.

I have a garmin eTrex legend, nothing fancy but it does the job. Anyone have anything of that caliber or lower for sale? I am located in Southern California.

I BOUGHT AN E-TREX LEGEND FOR A FRIEND WHO BACKED OUT. I WOULD LIKE TO SELL IT AS I HAVE NO NEED FOR IT.NEED FOR IT. hndlbr AKA Paul

  3. I use a leather fanny pack and take the following...gps, flashlight, digital camera, 35mm film container with cito bags inside, pda, coins for trades, personal TB for logging miles, several $20's, credit cards, cell phone with charger and they all fit nicely.
