Totem, I haven't organized a group before, but have put on an event that turned out to be a HUGE hit, a lot of cachers in attendance...as well as a couple small events. If you have the means to contact the media, that would be a great start! Posting in your local forums (if ou have one) is also a great way to get words out. If you don't have one, start one up, and email local cachers from your area to tell them about the new forum. Of course, you could always post it on here...but...don't say I didn't warn you!

I couldn't help but notice that there were a total of 3 posts stating "I will not reply to posts not from such and such" and yet...for some reason, you continued to reply. I think you may have misspelled that! Regardless...I will proudly let you hold that record, as I am NOT about to look that one up!

We never knew there was a "record" so we never paid attention...I guess I could go back and count, but that would mean our personal game was "all about the numbers" and I REFUSE to play that way!

To me...this whole "signing the container" thing is vandelism, and that is a crime. Yes, we place these on public property...but sometimes I place my vehicle on public property...and that doesn't give you the right to slash my tires, bust my windows...or even to write on it! Point is, regardless of where these containers are placed, they are still PRIVATE property...and in my eyes...you broke the law.

I have a hard time counting these as "a new record" unless ALL finds are done in the SAME way...i.e.: all teams actually signed the LOG!

Hmmmmmmm.....can we post which male we would LEAST like to cache with?

We have a cache that is "themed" to contain ONLY dog friendly things. It is stated RIGHT ON THE PAGE that if you are going to take something...please leave a dog item. Almost ALL of the logs on it say "sorry didn't have a dog toy or anything...but we took X Y or Z...and will return later to put something in." Guess what??? They NEVER come back! I have a feeling we aren't going to be keeping this cache around too much longer.
