Why, Justin...that is a good idea! You already know I would be interested...after our luck yesterday...I would really be interested!

I only went caching with him today to give YOU a break...cuz I know what that is like!!! And...I payed for the gas to keep him out of your hair...that's GOT to be good for SOMETHING!!! And, yes, I work...occasionally...sometimes...lol. Actually, it seems rare that I get to go to the bathroom, or take a break at work. Well I appreciate the break....of course that left me at home with BOTH girls, so I think he got the better end of the deal. Of course it's only fitting that both of you old farts should be out caching together You're gonna be how old again Man that must suck....hehe And you may have paid for the gas, but he said he bought the meals...so you only hit even there. It seemed like it was a miracle when I would get a break or get a chance to use the bathroom when I was Assistant manager at the Citgo, so I know your pain....at least they don't call you at all hours of the day and night asking you to get in the safe.....there are some benefits to being a low man on the totem pole. Meals??? He bought lunch...ask him who bought his evening refreshment...AND...managed to pick the ONE drive-thru with Mt. Dew??? Who took him to 2 caches that she had ALREADY done...just so he could get closer to his goal??? How many actual containers did he find today out of all the caches we did? Not only that, but I found his previous DNF AND a REALLY COOL MICRO!!! See...his memory is fading, he doesn't remember these kinds of things anymore. You really should keep an eye on him though Heather...he was losing his balance, falling down hills, dropping EVERYTHING...I really do think his age is getting to him! Low man on the totem pole? After 12 years of management...I am low man on the totem pole on purpose....it is rough being up there!

Huh..huh HUMMMMMMM..... Ok, so I left them in the car. Wasn't my fault I was in SUCH a hurry to get away from him.... wolverines scare elephants!!!! And noone ASKED you to bring them their keys.....even though it was WAY appreciated. And, you got some CHEAP gasoline for it...lol! Now....where did my head go???

I have a group that is currently stuck between officer vote and peer review. I want to make some edits to grammar and add some variables before it gets to peer review, but can't find a place to edit such items. The officers voted yea, acknowledging a few items that needed edited. Do I need to cancel the officer vote, or should I just wait and hope it makes it through the peer review? Help? Comments? Insults?

I'm a rock houdn that licks to fish. I think that's supposed to be "two fish." Well two is always better than one!

Sheesh...women! Give them a t-shirt and they'll take a coin too! I think I can round up a few...though there aren't many left (hint hint hint) Will there be Pilot coffee on tap for Saturday morning?!?!?!?! I want the Columbian, pleeeze....black n' bitter. Bret Ohhh...the Columbian is my favorite brew! Speaking of coffee on tap, Pilot mentioned trying to get together a flyer or something for the event, and if you take it in on the day of the event, you could get a free coffee or fountain pop or something. I thought that would work well, since so many people will be out and about doing caches in the area. However, with their remodel going on, I'm not sure how that will work out. Will keep you posted Bret, I know how important that coffee is to you.
-
Or, an awful lot of cups of that Pilot coffee you love so much!!! Hey, we have your hyperlink on the event page, does that mean we can talk you into bringing a geocacher-u coin with you to the PCC for a raffle prize in addition to the other things we talked about???

I've seen some categories about visitor information center and science museum. But, both seem to exclude nature centers and nature museums. They are all over, educating folks on the natural and cultural history of the area. Many are in state and national parks, and alot of county park systems have them. Would this make for a viable sub-category in the Nature category?

Thanks for the shout out 501_Gang! It sure was a lot of fun. We have lots of new faces signed up, and would LOVE to see more!!!
-
Hmm...Elwood + alcohol + campfire = ??? I think this has spelled disaster for you in the past...lol! Glad to see you can make it. Now I have to come up with a new idea to torture you at your campsite. This could be fun!
-
Well, the PCC is ALMOST HERE!!! Still have time to get those t-shirt orders in if you want them. I got mine today, and I do have to say, they look pretty good! Have several new sponsors onboard this year, and Pilot Travel Center was nice enough to donate a $50.00 Pilot Everything Card. So, I figured this would make a perfect prize for the winner of the closest to the pin contest! Looking forward to seeing everyone!!! Check on the event page, it has gotten a LOT of updates. I believe the link is provided in the first post on this thread!

You take a nasty, painful fall in the woods, leaving you bruised, scraped and the sorest you have been in years, and all you can think is "I HAVE to get home and log this!!!!!!!!" -
#13. When filling out paperwork at your job, you enter "cache" on forms used to track the amount of "cash" back a customer received....and your boss knows what you are talking about.
