  3. I climbed Mt. Hood last July in the dark (if any of you have done this with a group, you know what I'm talking about..) so how hard can it be to climb 30ft into a tree? Now, let's elaborate a bit on these bonus points... Have headlamp will travel!

  5. Thanks for your input - I have logged him and sent him on the next leg of his journey!
  6. I just today took a travel bug from my most recent cache find (Tree in a Strange Place..) After I rushed home to log both my find and the bug, I discovered that the person who had it before me didn't log it out of the last cache it was in (Memorials), and didn't log it into the one I just took it out of. Should I log it? There would be no explanation how it got from one cache to the next. Does that matter? Any thoughts/comments? Thanks!
  7. I am really (one month) new to geocaching. (That is my disclaimer..) Now, my question. I just today took a travel bug from my most recent cache find. 8. Hey All! I'm a real newbie (I think I've just broken the one month mark!) and I'd like to hook up with other Portland/Metro cacher(s) to log some finds with. EMail: BAnnHoltz@hotmail.com. Thanks!
  9. Being such a newbie, this will be a great chance for me to meet my fellow cachers! (Every time I visit a park now, I check to see who is "lurking" ). And while I'm not "officially" a photographer, I'd be happy to play one for a day. (Gotta love those digital cameras!) So - count me in! I look forward to meeting everyone and doing a bit of ivy whacking.
