So far my wife and I have done some qeocaching and love it. I have the Magellan eXplorist GC unit and live in the Buffalo, NY area. I am using the magellan vantage point software to transfer the GPX files to the gps.
What I did is create several pocket queries; one for our house, one by Niagara Falls, and one by my parents house. I told the generator to limit the search to NY and to a radius of 100 miles with a max of 1000 geocaches for each pocket query; I am trying to just load up my GPS so no matter where we are I can just turn it on and find some geocaches. The reason I created three queries was that I can be sure that I get just about all the caches since you are limited to 1000 per query.
My question is that when I download all the query results to my computer and then load them into the vantage point software will it automatically remove all duplicates or will I see a listing for a geocache on there twice?
