Atlanta Gal I have reviewed all the posts (so far) and found something very interesting, of all the people that suggested they were vey disatisfied with the www.geocoinstore.com signal product they recieved, About %50-%60 of these disatisfied customers elluded to price in thier posts. Many of them even went as far as to suggest if I had paid only X dollars they would be satisfied. Now I will quickly conceed that there is logic to the idea that the more you pay for something the higher your expectations and I don't think that January Signal coin is the best coin they have ever made. But, I suspect some of the people are complaining because they are looking at the www.geocoinstore.com coins with microscopes. They are bitter about the prices and will post anything to put the www.geocoinstore.com down. It does not sound like you are one of them. Obviously I cannot prove this theory, The truth about peoples motives are only known by them. As for me, I am sticking up for the geocoinstore NOT because I benefit in anyway. I am just another customer. I can't wait for the Feb Signal Coin....then march... april.... ETC...... Anyone know what month Signal's birthday is? I like the coins I received (2). I have ordered 2 for Feb. I will order 2 for March when on sale. I plan to purchase 2 for each month. I am satisifed. I am wondering when the negative comments for the GOcoin store will cease. Each time I have contacted the store I have received repies, no matter what the subject. I suppose when the Feb deliveries begin, a new Feb thread will appear. Whatever. It is like a letter to the editor....something to read, laugh or cry about, and call it a day.

I contacted you about the poor quality of the 2 coins I received and have received no response....... We got 1 today and besides the grind marks on the edge and cracks and bubbles in the paint, it's not a bad looking coin. Now onto another problem, has anybody activated a Signal coin and then tried to drop it somewhere? People can grab it from us, we can grab it back, but if we have it and goto a cache page, it doesn't show in our inventory. We dropped all our other bugs at an event, we have the box at the bottom when we goto log the event, but all the box shows is " None Selected" . Something is there but it's not this fine looking Signal coin? Any ideas? Hints?

Don't feel too bad. I saw one at an event last weekend, (the coin I saw looked ok, I didn't look at it very close, tho there was alot of black on the coin) but I still don't have the ones I ordered and I live in the same state as the Coin Club, I even get to pay sales tax on the coins . This delay might be due to the fact that I didn't order them in January but in late Febuary and it might just be a first come first served thing, but 6 days of mailings seems like alot? I ordered my coins Feb 15...... recieved them March 9...sent to Alaska.

I received both coins today (March 9, 2006). They are looking good. No complaints on this end. Turn around time (order-receipt), less than 4 weeks. This is the high end of the acceptable delivery time mentioned on the site. No problems with that either.

Consider: Underaged individuals obtaining said tickets. Should the tickets only be used by purchaser? What are the rules on the tickets? Check legality of this situation. Is it legal to pass purchased tickets? A lot to consider in this situation legal wise.

If anyone has seen or found TB Chugach Caboose (TBJA5Z). Please log the location. Item last retrievd from Goals (GCGPA1) in Alaska. Log entry stated it was going to Idaho. Last seen May 2005. Mileage "0"

I owned "Conifer" it was vandalized approximately mid July. When I went to get the remains, most of the log book was mssing. The cache has been archived. It was GCP3QB.

I would rather have a parking lot micro over one in a forest of beetle killed spruce trees with a hint "near a small tree", that I have to walk over 100 yards off the trail after walking 2 miles to get to the area. If the micro shows me something I have not seen before, go do it. I have seen trees.

I see instances in logs where finders will state that the cache was not found where the log sheet coordinates indicated it should be and have moved it to where they "thought" it should be based on their GPS coordinate reading. My feeling on this is to leave the cache where you find it. Your GPS reading may be in error. Specify your findings when you log the cache and leave it to the owner to determine if needs to be moved. If everyone moved a cache based on their readings, the cache may end of quite a distance from the original location and the DNFs will begin to add up.
