Thanks for notifying us that one of our fun projects snuck out a little early. This may or may not be on the website sometime soon.

We are aware of this issue and working to resolve this on the new profile page. As a work-around, you can opt out of the new profile page (select link on the top of the page, "This is the new public profile. You can access the old profile until November 30, 2020. Go back to the old profile page.") and email the user through the old profile page.

We are not intending to extend it to third-party checkers.

The new deadline is December 15, 2020. If you want the chance for a second Adventure, then you could aim for the October 31, 2020 deadline. We understand there are lockdowns. That's why we extended everyone's deadlines to December 15, 2020.

I'm happy to report that the new attributes are now visible again on the Edit Page. So you can add the attribute yourself!

We have not run the script yet for the attribute for challenge caches. We expect to do that early next week. What you have discovered is a BUG. The new attributes are not showing visible on the cache Edit Page (although they were there for most of last week). We have notified the engineers and hope for a fix soon, so that you can apply the attribute yourself. Thanks for your patience.

Thanks for reporting this. It appears that the Create a Pocket Query page either takes a very long time to open, or will not respond at all. We will notify the engineers.

Thanks for reporting this issue. There is a temporary fix in the App Store, to prevent the app from crashing if you are viewing the attributes page of a cache that has the solution checker attribute. The next step is for us to make the solution checker attribute visible on the cache page in the mobile app. It may not be helpful on the app, but the user could view the cache page on the website to view the checker.

As I said before: We plan to add an error message so that Basic members know that they are not able to send external links. We are still working out the details, since this involves both web and mobile Message Center experiences. Thank you for your patience.

The Android team says that they are aware that the most recent release caused app crashes early today. They pushed out a fix that should help resolve the issue.

The issue identified in the original post is now resolved. All users should now be able to send coordinates within messages in the Message Center (as they could before).

Steps to delete test in app: Open the app on your mobile phone Select the Directory tab (three lines in upper right corner of the screen) Select ‘Test’ Adventure Swipe it left

We are exploring ways to reduce spam to our community, sent through the Message Center. As of July 26, 2020, Basic Members are no longer allowed to send external links through the Message Center. We plan to add an error message so that Basic members know that they are not able to send external links. The fact that a Basic member also cannot send coordinates was an unintended result that we will investigate. Premium members are unaffected.

Our engineers are working to resolve this issue.

Whether to create or complete a bonus cache is a purely optional activity, both for the Adventure Lab creator and for the person who finds an Adventure Lab. Therefore, we do not believe the bonus has to be set for Basic members.

Public Adventure Lab experiences are currently available for all members, Premium and Basic. There is no setting needed.

Today, one of the HQ engineers ran a script that will hopefully fix most of the issues that occurred on June 25, 2020. As a result, some users will see new souvenirs awarded, Favorite points earned, and updates to the Memory Lane leaderboard.
