  1. Well that is very interesting, I wonder where the advert is going then when I submit it? as it certainly is not turning up as the next item ! I'll try again although this will be the third time.....and I only have one for sale !!! Thanks for your reply though, answers that question that I had.
  2. Is there a limit on the number of pages that a topic can have? I'm trying to put something in the Garage Sale fixed theme section which is on page 50, but everytime I submit the item for sale, nothing happens and the theme stays on page 50. Is it not possible for someone to remove sold items from this topic?

  5. Just noticed that you have given it one of your Top Cache Award Coins, well deserved. Most interesting web page as well, your Top Cache awards. If your not out at sea, your like a Bat in completing these challenges! Well Ok the odd nice Cornish walk as well. Great site and most interesting. feel sure that someone will have a solution to the container question.
  6. Perhaps it may be worth e-mailing digdug 123, the owners of GC2R5TS, he may just have a suggestion as everyone has admired his work upon a particular puzzle cache with a most ingenious container, say no more!
  7. Wrote, yes wrote! to Memory Map and they answered the next day with an update to Version 4 to download. Did and everything now back to normal. Well pleased with MM response. Also thank you for all your ideas.
  8. Old machine and Windows XP has gone, now have the new PC, loaded MM 04 version and all the maps are on and looking good,on windows 7, but cannot export from GSAK to MM any .csv file of waypoints as I do not have licence for a Professional Feature. This is probably why Rutsons Macro is not functioning either. So my questions are: 1. Does any techie have a solution or does anyone know how I can get a so called Professional Licence for my verion 04 of MM. Read the MM forum, but not a lot of help. Any assistance most appreciated.
  9. Installed it again from web site, hence why I lost all my previous macros. I'm more or less sorted now and it is stage points and parking that is being shown, never had that before!. My only problem now is that the Rutson macro for Memory Map does not want to work and if I try to import as csv from GSAK to Mem Map it tells me 'Licence Not Found for Professional Feature' which astounds me as its a registered copy. So if I could somehow obtain this licence I would be laughing. It worked before on my old PC. So much for upgrading! <_<
  10. We are also well past 'Bus Pass' age as are many Geocachers that we know and have met. We visited Norfolk and Suffolk earlier this year to have a look around and also do a little Geocaching. It was like being on a Pilgrimage as we had never seen so many Church Micros anywhere else before in the country up to now, and literally just a few miles from each other as well, spires, round towers and square, you name it they have it. Great to get used to peoples hints, excellent to find and also very interesting. Kids will hate them however as they are all micros and no swaps!Another tip is to always read previous logs, its incredible what information that you can obtain from them. Enjoy, we do!
  11. My Oregon is only a 300, but have downloaded the macro and it seems to be OK, the only thing that I cannot work out is why on the map now I have blue circles and blue flags as well as the green traditional cache boxes. They have numbers as well such as S12y0q0, could they possibly be a route? as they are in the area of a series? Cannot get Ian Rutsons Memory Map Macro to work either, beginning to wish that I had not upgraded my PC. Always wished I was a techie and not just a user! Oh Well. Any advice appreciated.
  12. OK, cannot see the wood for the tree's, where can I find the GSAK Macro Library? I'm after the one to transfer a data base of 800 caches (GPX) to the Oregon. Is anyone able to assist......... Thank You.
  13. Born in Wyke, first house we owned was on Portland, brother still has hut out at the Bill. Some lovely caches around, must say that for an evening walk caching, is to go from Ferry bridge along the Fleet to the Moonfleet Church, beautiful and a nice handful of caches as well. We often stay at east Fleet caravan park, some nice circular walks from there as well!
  14. Thanks very much, so simple when you know. Much obliged
  15. It is appreciated with an IPhone that one has the ability to place a co-ord into the Maps App and go to Satellite map and then be able to walk to GZ. However, in the Geocaching App for the IPhone which one has purchased if one goes to 'Navigate to' it asks for address, GC Code or Postcode, but your doing a Multi Cache so how can you simply place in the co-ords that have been produced from whatever clues? Any advice? <_<
  16. It worked and all is well, I now get them on my PC using one e-mail address and on my IPhone using another. Thank you for all the advice. I am no longer sitting by my phone waiting for someone to place out a new cache!!
  17. Well, well, well what can I say? Thanks a million Flipflopnick you've certainly made my day. Thank You very much, works a treat!
  18. Addictive ?? Not at all he says!!
  19. Thanks for that, I have now set up one set of notifications for the PC using one e-mail address and another set for the phone using a gmail e-mail account. So now patiently waiting for someone to put out a new cache somewhere within 20 miles of our location to see if it works! Fingers crossed and thanks for your advice and comments. I'm not really sure now of the benefit of adding a second e-mail address if it does not send to both at the same time. Oh well never been a techie! Thanks again.
  20. I seem to be unable to be notified of new caches on both my Desk Top PC at home which has one e-mail address, and at the same time on my IPhone which has another e-mail address. On notifications I have my PC as my Primary email and phone as the 'add another' email, but do not appear to get the notifications on it, it has been validated. Can anyone advise what it is that I am doing wrong? Thanks.
  21. I'll just patiently wait for Edgemaster to finish his exams as I do not have the same text as is being explained. For instance when I go to manage scripts I only have the option of disabling or removing! neither of which I wish to do. So cannot really get to first base as they say. Ready when you are Edge! Good luck with your exams as well.
  22. Thanks TL&MinBHIL for that interesting advice, was a straight forward tutorial for me and I have certainly learnt something. The only bit that I was slightly confused on was when I went to maps and photos, it said maps on, but Google Maps were showing off. I saved all the same and going to the cache selected it was shown on a satellite map, so everything was fine regardless of it having said Google Map off. Thanks again for tutorial.
  23. Yes, most annoying got back to the good OS Maps and now they have reverted back to those Beta things. Roll on the end to his exams...and of course hope that he does really well in them.
  24. Thank you very much indeed. I find these maps on the cache page one of the best assets that there are for the actual cache page. Certainly miss them when they are not available that's for sure. Thanks again, appreciated.
  25. So its a matter of Education, Education, Education before the matter of Location, Location, Location. Good luck with those exams and we will just wait patiently for their return, That is Edge and the maps! Thanks for the update Mrs B, rhymes with Orange.
