I'd love to hear about geocache hiding from professional or amateur magicians. That must include at least some of you. I know that you guys never tell your secrets, but I'm sure you have some hints that you can share.
This is what we have to look forward to on your next cache hide?? Great. Your's are tough enough without the use of magic.

I helped out with your margin of error. I answered all of them with the opposite to the truth answer .

I helped a new cacher place a cache.I don't own the cache, only he does. There's already been an FTF.Can I find it or no?
(No this is not hypothetical-There really is a cache I helped with here.PM me for the GC# if you like but I'm not posting it)
This is not a question of ethics. Either log it or not. You've got my blessing to do either one with no hard feelings.

No amount of preparation can help you in such a situation with a gang, hopefully the LEO will get them in the end. Could be strike three for some of those offenders!
conceal and carry.

I've seen a few posts where it seems to really annoy the heck out of some people when a cacher is a "FTF hound". Some folks really enjoy being FTF and are willing to go out in the night or early morning or in terrible weather for a FTF. For some reason that really seems to make some folks angry. What do you think? Does it annoy you or do you just not really care or what?
Personally, I don't understand why it should upset anybody but..........
Someone's got to be FTF. I've noticed the cachers in my area that hate FTF hounds are the other FTF hounds that consistently get there second.
I am a FTF hound. And when I don't make it on time I have only myself to kick.

A little presumptious, don't you think? It's an all-about-me world out there and I can apply it to your complaining and to the seekers of your caches.
Consider cachers that do pocket query dumps and literally do unplanned drivebys seeking out caches near their route...

Here's how I do mine....
Lock n lock sprayed green and then covered with camo burlap.
I did the decoy thing last year and was finally stolen a couple weeks back. Search geocaching.com for "Foul Water".

I would have a series of them called "Check it Out." I would place several books in each cache and people could take a book an leave a book. It would be like a cache for literacy.
This was attempted in MN. Maud's Secret Library.

In Minnesota, I've seen them on highways, sidewalks, and even near sewage pumping stations.
There's a smaller X (about 5' across) on a sidewalk just a few blocks from my home.

I'd like to cache with her too.

Conclusion understood. But I think what you might be asking for is a Web Service.
Amazon.com has a web service for free use which is pretty darn cool.

i cant make a list due to im only a member but ill just tell you now anyone who lives in the TC can tell you Posen has the best hides and he only hides caches in roseville so take a look there are a lot of them crammed in that lil town but its not like hes hiding for density but his caches are quality some are exotic and some are good camos. so heres what you do go to the web site then go search minnesota and search the city of roseville it should be there. id say its about 5 miles from NSP
It'd be easier to search by cacher Posen.

There are two types of people that have MySpace accounts. Pedophiles and people that want to cheat on their spouse. At least that's what my research is finding..

We've run into a real head scratcher...when we try to download a new cache into our GPSmap 60C, the message "waypoint file is full" comes up. The only way we can download a new waypoint, is to manually delete an old one. What's up with this? Can't find any way to clean out the waypoint / found geocache file en mass...Would like to clean out these files regularly to avoid this problem. As an alternative, I guess we could "reset" the unit?? could use some help on this please Thanks!!!
Trip Computer menu, delete, gives you option to delete all waypoints, tracks, etc.

Go textured paint. Even your Shale won't stay bonded very long with the elements and handling by fellow cachers.

What do you guys think? And if anyone wants to steal my idea, you can.. and you don't even have to give me any credit! Well.. as long as you're not from my area.. if you are, wait till I have mine out, then copy it!
Something similar was done in the Twin Cities. Although the cache is no longer active.

The first lightpole skirt cache I found I thought was very cool -- I'd never seen it and didn't know you could hide stuff under there. It was also in the parking lot of a park, not a store, and it was the first stage of a multi that was in the park, not a micro cache unto itself. Now, though, I don't even bother with them.
The plus side is, now that I know about the skirts and most non-cachers don't, I've used them to hide my keys when I want to lock my car and don't want to carry them (e.g. jogging)
What kind of a car do you drive and where do you go jogging?
